Just saw your post. He's not right. Whoever posted this thread has to be young and hasn't been watching the sport more than 10yrs. probably. WHITAKER is the greatest defensive fighter ever. WILLIE PEP is 2nd, and MAYWEATHER is 3rd. Here's my post........."For you guys who say that MAYWEATHER is a better defensive fighter than WHITAKER, HOW LONG HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN WATCHING BOXING? WHITAKER is the greatest defensive fighter EVER! PERIOD! WILLIE PEP is number 2, and MAYWEATHER is 3rd. WHITAKER was a boxing GOD and in my top 5 to ever lace up gloves. Would MAYWEATHER look this GOOD had he been fighting fighters in their primes? I DON'T THINK SO. IT was hard to hit WHITAKER anywhere. HEAD and BODY. He had BILLION-DOLLAR LEGS, whereas MAYWEATHER doesn't have the ebst legs. Never did. That's WHY it's easy to hit him to the body. He is also suceptable to a GOOD jab. He was quicker than WHITAKER, but WHITAKER was far the overall better fighter. He never LOSS once in his PRIME. You can't say that about MAYWEATHER because he hasn't fought A-LEVEL competition. It's like those who even mention KOBE BRYANT and MICHAEL JORDAN in the same sentence. THERE IS NO COMPARISON, and that's a whole nother conversation. I'M GOD-FR33 FROM MKE by the way."
