As far as changing the fight I think floyd's defense is better because he makes you miss then makes you pay for it, whitaker just makes you miss. Floyd's defense breaks your will because not only do you miss he tags you back and makes you second guess your self when you throw punches. Whitaker's usually just makes you miss and look dumb but doesnt cut down on your workrate as much as floyd's does.

You cant really compare competitions of different eras. There are a bunch of different scenarios that could be going on. For example hagler, leonard, hearns, and duran could of all just been around the same level while floyd is above and beyond his competition. Or floyd could just be average compared to them but we will never know, EVEN THOUGH I DONT BELIEVE THAT.
You cant be mad at floyd you need to be mad at the competition that hasnt been able to test him yet. Maybe pacquiao will push mayweather to the limit but I doubt it.

I see no one on his level, especially not the people that people say he ducked. Since cotto fought judah his best defense has been blocking punches with his face, floyd's best offense is hitting you in the face not a good combination. Margarito, the SLOW puncher who doesnt get started until the 6th round with no footwork, no chance at cutting the ring off from floyd. Oh and his best defensive weapon is his face(see cotto description). Paul williams who sometimes fights by throwing strong punches or fights by throwing pity pat punches, who has been put on ***** street more than ellerbe. Paul williams is the most inconsistent fighter I have ever seen. He was getting tagged in the cintron fight before cintron tried out for the olympic long jump team(I think he seriously fell out the ring I just thought that was funny).

Scienctifically speaking as the human body evolves, it gets bigger, faster, and stronger. So that right there tells you that you can only compare fighter's of different areas relative to the competition. Because even though far as records wise and accomplishments ray robinson is the greatest, he would not do that in this era if he had the same exact abilities he had back then. There are also a bunch of other factors like athletes today have way better supplements(legal or not), advances in sports science makes direct comparisons useless.

Floyd's defence is way better. The only thing with whittaker is it LOOKS better and is PRETTIER. If you really watch him he gets TAGGED more often than lil floyd.


Dont get me wrong id rather have pernells defence becuz it looks so dam pretty and it could get you alot of bitches.
