It has been said before that his condition could have been there before the Benn fight. That is true.

If he's not decent, then neither was a prime Nate Campbell. He was a lot more competitive against Hlatschwayo, with brain damage. He might have even won that fight.

Yeah, there was talk about him suffering frequent headaches after the Jackson fight. Of course, lots of people suffer headaches and don't have brain injuries, so who knows really.

No, unless you mean the biggest of example of "HBO's Legendary Nights series polluting the minds of boxing message boards with their exaggerations and half-truths".

So Pacquiao destroying Cotto means Cotto is damaged goods? WTF? Who hasn't Pacquiao destroyed?

Cotto is fine, maybe a little mentally weaker after 2 knockout losses, but ****. One was against a guy who cheated with bricks and the other was against a possible steroid user. It's not like Cotto has a legit loss on his entire resume.

A prime Campbell has always been inconsistent. He fought on the level of his opponents. Look at his fights with Campbell, Kid Diamond, and Juan Diaz. All fights he ws the underdog in. Then look at his fights with Peden 2x and Hlatswayo. And, is not like the Hlatswayo fight was not close.

I mean Ndou had a record of 3-2 (3KO's) at LW. That was his LW record. His 3 winc came from fighters I have never heard of.

his only win of note in his entire career was Cassius Baloyi at SFW. He really had no notable wins, never beat a champ, he just hadn't done anything really to say he was ruined by Floyd. I don't think he was that special to begin with. I don't know what elite SFW or LW at the time I would of favored Ndou in beating

Everybody on this thread, for the most part, is completely wrong.

Floyd Mayweather never ruined Corrales. In fact, he made Corrales better.

Mayweather didn't ruin Ricky Hatton. Margarito didn't ruin Miguel Cotto.

Julio Cesar Chavez did ruin Meldrick Taylor.
                    Luis Resto ruined Billy Collins

                      1. Michael Jennings...Really?? How couldn't Cotto look good against someone like him?

                      2. He wasn't just beaten by Margo, but he was brutally beaten. He had blood coming out of every possible area. I think those fights really messed him up mentally. Also, he isn't as fast as he used to be and he doesn't box as much as he used to. He also cuts a lot more than before. I even question his chin, because he used to be able to take punches, do the chicken dance and then rebound seconds later. Now he takes flight and looks like he's ready to go. Against Pacquiao, he looked desperate when he hadn't even been staggered or hurt yet, and he just attacked him. That's not the Cotto I'm used to seeing.
