Possibly. But I think they both have great futures. Khan, Alvarez, Alexander, Ward, Dirrell, Linares, Juanma, Gomboa. Come on, how can boxing not have a great future?

MMA is new, it can only go up. It has spread world wide and its officially only began since '89. They are doing shows in the UK and Germany already. Add that Martial Arts will forever have interest, you have an unlimited resource of possible fighters to go into MMA.

IMO, they are both great. I like them both. I just neutralize the people who hate MMA, that's all i'm doing right now.

And I don't give a **** if they are ATGs or not. That is not the issue. The issue is boxing is the only sport where athletes aren't considered better than the past champions. Every fucking sport in the world has athletes considered better than the past except Boxing. Boxing fans just won't except it, which hinders the growth of the sport. If I made a thread right now saying Evander Holyfield in his prime could beat a prime Ali, everyone on this site would blow a gasket.
It's been around and mainstream for well over a decade. You'd think by now it would be able to offer more than 3-0 champions. I don't hate MMA by any stretch. It is what it is, some fights are interesting, many are not. I just don't appreciate wrestling as much as I do boxing, although I will never deny it takes skill to be a great wrestler.

I think boxing and MMA can co-exist just fine.

And there's PLENTY of modern boxers considered better than the older boxers. Considering there have been THOUSANDS of boxers over the past century, being in the top 50 is a pretty big accomplishment, and TONS of modern boxers have done just that. Even boxers still actively fighting.

Rome wasn't built in a day.

Boxing got to the point it is after 100yrs. WWE got where it is after 100yrs. NFL got where it is after 100yrs. Soccer got where it is after 100yrs. You expect MMA to have dudes with 100+ wins and be the greatest thing since sliced bread after 10yrs? Nah, I like MMA and I don't even expect that.

It will take time. People will always want to see people fight. So I don't see how people can say MMA > Boxing or Boxing > MMA. It just doesn't make sense, not overall at least. Maybe in one person's preference but not overall when the human species will pay whatever to see two well trained dudes fight.

I don't see MMA going alway, but maybe that will keep boxing on point. I only wish boxing was as organized as the UFC.

why you people compare boxing to that human ****fight is beyond me it's really disrespectful to boxing.
