Good to see him stay busy, but the only thing fights like this prove is that he's the heavyweight king of washed up cruiserweights.

A few people have mentioned Dimitrenko. I think that would be a great fight for Briggs. Dimitrenko doesn't really have a fighter's mentality, and would maybe fold under the pressure physically and mentally against Briggs. Briggs can beat some top heavyweights, but he has to be matched against the right ones I feel.Comment

Why is Shannon Briggs, a big heavyweight, fighting shot cruiserweights?
Briggs outweighed the age 40 Rob Calloway by 50 pounds, even though Rob was out of shape with a pot belly!
Both Calloway and Alexander had been getting KOed a lot recently, by cruiserweights. They are badly shot and shouldn't be fighting anymore for the sake of their health.
Briggs was caught cheating with steroids a few months back. Does he really need PEDs to beat old, shot cruiserweights.
Shannon Briggs is a disgrace. He should be fighting heavyweight bums like he used to, not shot cruiserweights.Comment

He is just getting in shape.since his minor suspension he fought 3 known "opponents" just to get his name out there.he did balloon up to 330 before he trained to fight again...needed some extra supplements but got caught...oh well it's not like the klits havnt experimented...Comment
