Look bruh we not in high school(I asked you 1st. ect.......) The answer is none. I can say Oscar but you'll say he was past it(To me ODH was still very relative), and if you say ODH was past it then you can discredit his win over Sweet Pea(which most think he lost). The answer is there are no prime HOF'ers on Floyd's resume because it's a term that is used loosely at best.

Floyd does have outstanding wins over the best comp available at the time, and those wins are in dominant fashion thus making Floyd the HOF'er in his era. You have plenty of damn good Boxers out there but not very many GREAT Boxers and then to go a step further barely any HOF'ers. The HOF'ers in question were always a weight class above Floyd; now who's fault is that?

          • people forget how good the late Chico Corrales was before fighting Mayweather, he was undefeated, not only that but Corrales was actually the FAVORITE against Mayweather (Last time Mayweather ever been the underdog in a fight), unfortunately for Mayweather his ERA didn't have many great fighters to actually challenge him, he made a lot of good fighters look so bad and many of them never recovered after losing to Mayweather

Mayweather was calling out Mosley in their Prime as well as Kostya Tszyu, Prince Naseem Hemed, those guys wanted absolutely nothing to do with a young and hungry Mayweather as for Cotto and Margarito some of yall need to do your research, Mayweather just left Top Rank during that time, it wasn't no way Bob Arum was going to do business with Mayweather right after Mayweather just walked away from his promotion company, that is the real reason why Mayweather vs Cotto and Mayweather vs Margarito didn't happen, Mayweather haven't fought a Top Rank Bob Arum promoted fighter since he left Top Rank if I am not mistaking

            • I think Corrales, Castillo and Hatton qualify.

He just moved up fast to get the big money fight with Oscar and the **** payed off as he became a star. If he wanted to he couldve stayed at LW for alot longer. He was small and only 138 in the ring. He couldve cleaned out all those names and then people would be calling him a legend. The **** is so subjective
The key right here is the he could of but did not, and thats why real boxing fans dont see him as a ATG there is nothing subjective about that. I dont deny that the man does not have skills and tools that "could of" made him great but he used them only to get rich. Now there is a diffrence in becoming a conqueror and whipping everyone around and tryng to build yourself to get paid. Great fighters dont go looking for money, money comes to them.

You sir can expect some Green K for this post once I recharge. This basically closes the thread. The problem is anytime you talk about Floyd and his opponents nobody wants to remember the talk before they fight Floyd, they just discredit them after Floyd embarasses them. Then it's "oh well they weren't that good anyway." It's sicking but it is what it is.

No one expected Floyd to dismantle Chico(R.I.P.) the way he did.
