if the best from boxing fought the best from mma, mma wins 8/10. the only thing boxers are taught is how to box while mma fighters are trained in all aspects of combat.

It's all up to practitioner man, as much as I like boxing if the fighters are of equal level the muay thai fighter will probably take a boxer out most times. Muay thai is a bad style match up for boxing
