Getting knocked out isn't the same as 'folding'.

Folding is when you wilt mentally, even when your body can go on. Folding is accepting defeat when victory is still a possibility.

Roy got hit and was physically unable to get up in time. Whether he was the mentally strongest guy in the world or the weakest, you cannot do what your legs/body won't allow.

Roy had a very tough upbringing from his father, you don't come out the other side of that as a world champion if you fold easily.

It was close, but he lost the first fight to Tarver, imo.

truth is has faced adversity many times before that, he was also slightly drained and broke his wrist mid-fight against hopkins, playing basketball then having a proffesional boxing match on the same day pushed his stamina, fighting with a fractured wrist against telesco, fighting with a torn bicep against trinidad and the most famous, being heavily weight-drained against tarver

and as for jones chin, he got tagged a couple of times against harding, a guy who broke tarvers jaw, and 3 ribs
How the **** can you even mention Trinidad... Tito best weight was 147... Didn't he fight jones at 170 or some ****. Tito has been done since Hopkin knocked his ass out...smh

how does that negate the fact that fighting with a torn bicep is overcoming adversity? his bicep has looked wierd as **** ever since then

I'm curious to see how many times he's going to avoid this question.

He is probably one of those haters, who started watching Roy late in his career.

Me too. You can tell he's annoyed because he's so confrontational in his responses but he is really ducking this question.
