It doesn't mean that, he might have just chosen not to wear the gloves. Is it unusual that he changed gloves at this stage in his career? Yes. But that doesn't mean he didn't choose to change gloves.

I'm pretty sure someone on Mosley's team would've made something out of it had Mosley been forced to change gloves.

G leon at boxing talk did ask and said its weird that Mosley choose Grant on the morning of the fight but Mosley's tean just said he didnt want to take a risk on the everlast one, They didnt really touch on the reyes gloves so i cant comment on it.

this makes no sense tbh as floyd is asking a younger pac to take the same tests, would he not therefore be putting himself at a disadvantage the same as you state he did with sugar shane..

and back the subject of gloves, i really dont think they would make ALL that much difference tbh, Its not like Cletos have some sort of rock inside them that would rattle floyds brain around inside his skull.. gloves are not going to make a HUGE difference between a guy shaking off a flush punch or ending up twitching on the canvas like a stuck pig.

Floyd Mayweather worked hard and put on a masterful perfomance against Shane Mosley. He dominated him from the first bell to the last and apart from 2 good Mosley punches in the 2nd, it was all Floyd. I dont know why you would want to discredit that perfomance. You sound like a *******.

Give credit where its due, people said floyd was scared and would never fight Mosely, well, he fought him and he dominated him. That perfomance had nothing to do with Gloves. Stop bein a hater and give credit where its due

Can't you get it bro? It was in their negotiations that he accepted the terms that he can't wear Cletto Reyes, therefore it's everlast or Grant for him.

If you have been watching Shane box. You should know damn well its Cletto Reyes is his choice of gloves.

In the de la hoya fight floyd had to agree to all oscars demands. Weight, glove size, glove brand, purse split, ect. I think mayweather deserves to be on his oscar type pedestal now.
