Floyd made Mosely use his kind of gloves "Grant"
Collapse

Its pretty obvious that mosley has used the reyes gloves extensively in the past and posters are telling us that he had a choice of grants or everlasts for this fight but that doesnt touch on the core issue of the thread and so nothing is debunked as people are continually saying?? Unbelieveable
Until we find out for sure if the reyes gloves were on or off the table nothing is debunked as far as i can see
I cant for the life of me see what the harm is in asking the question, surely its relevant, different gloves have different characteristics and if a certain glove is off the table for the fight, its news imo, especially if its the glove that has obviously been used regularly by the fighter in the past
Especially as floyd himself has complained many times about the gloves de la hoya made him wear, did he do something similiar? I dont know but im sure we will find out one way or the otherComment

actually it wasn't a white flag...In this fight, he made mosely use his choice of gloves, allowed him to fight him @ almost 39 years of age, made him draw blood even if he has taken the same blood test but damn his younger right and he is still no prune like Mosely who is almost 39 years old, surely he gets more affected losing blood than him..
Bottom line, Mayweather made Mosely choose his brand of gloves.
I'll ask you this question? If it doesn't matter what gloves you wear in a fight, why then did mayweather not allow Mosely to use CLeto Reyes his favorite brand?
it's more about you more or less wanting nothing more than to **** on Floyd rather than listen to logic even when someone who represents one of the gloves Shane was thinking about using told you he specfically chose Grants to wear for his fight
and by the way THIS was your original stance. Funny how it changes over this thread the moment you get debunked.
that's your game you won't listen to anyone else telling you with facts that indeed he chose Grants, largely based on the comfort he felt and Naazim telling him these were the best gloves for Shane
and here is another thing
1. you said he was forced to wear Grants- been disproved so then you moved to.....
2. you said he didn't have an option of wearing a puncher's glove- again disproved so now it has to specific....
3. you said he could not wear Reyes gloves- yet to be proven by you that's indeed what happened. No link no video of him saying he could not wear reyes etc etc
you continue to harp on him not having the option to wear a puncher's glove
he had the choice, he chose not to.
it's a shame that you are pegged for nothing more than a Floyd hater I mean it's kind of weak to come on a board about boxing and focus solely on one aspect of a great sport.
so show us where Shane tells everyone he could not wear Cleto Reyes
please so that way I can call his team on it.Comment

he chose not to use them at all. His team's words not mine
and also
if this was really about Floyd forcing him not to wear a certain style of glove why do Judah Baldomir Marquez and Hatton all wear different gloves than Floyd in their fights?
in fact, didn't Marquez wear the dreaded Reyes glove?
it's grasp at straws that the TS didn't think anyone would call him on.Comment
