whats wrong with grants ,there balanced gloves.there not everlast.reyes are for punchers sure but i have never seen a fighter lose his power from wearing grants,unlike everlast.just my opinion.

There was no mention of why he didn't want to wear Reyes but he had the choice to wear the new Everlast MX gloves which are basically Everlast's version of Cleto Reyes gloves, he just chose not to wear them, so I doubt Mayweather forced him to not wear Reyes since Everlast has come out with basically the same type of glove.

You dont seem to get it, You seem to be pushing this agenda that Mayweather made Mosley wear grant gloves, Facts is Mosley wore what he wanted to wear, He trained with Everlast throughout his sparring but decides against it on the morning of the fight because everlast made a brand-new gloves for him a gloves that they wanted Mosley to try for the first time ever, He decides not to take the risk and went with grant gloves....Not everyone goes for reyes gloves..

they didn't make the glove specifically for him.. get your head out of your ass. it was a new glove, but not one designed specifically for him. it was in the contract that he couldn't wear Cleto's. He had a choice.. but not between gloves he wanted. & maybe the Everlast are similar.. but still not Cleto's. **** knows if it would've made a difference anyway, a lot of times it does.. It doesn't mean that, he might have just chosen not to wear the gloves. Is it unusual that he changed gloves at this stage in his career? Yes. But that doesn't mean he didn't choose to change gloves.

I'm pretty sure someone on Mosley's team would've made something out of it had Mosley been forced to change gloves.

it dosnt matter what brand of gloves shane used...he easily gassed out and had a good chance of knocking floyd down in the 2nd round...with any make or pair of gloves it wouldnt matter the fight would have still gone the same way..
