Pac sang on Jimmy Kimmel for god sakes, he connects with a younger audience and was given the first seat on Jay Leno or David Lederman, not at the conclusion of their shows. He has an accessible personality which helps. Floyd did big numbers because of the residual effect of his first 24/7. I bet the house if he takes on what people perceive as soft touches and without HBO 24/7 his numbers will drop substantially. I also guarantee you if he fought someone like Clottey he wouldn't have done comparable numbers and half the stadium would have been empty.
yeah yeah another post with no FACTS just you're own opinion. Which noone is taking away from you. BUT stop talking as if you're stating FACTS. And for the record you can't guarantee ****!!

JMM was also coming off of his lone effort of trying to be the A side of a PPV event with Casamayor and did 100K buys. So its not exactly like Maywetaher has had two megastars on the other side of the fight poster either.
I thought JMM is a draw, the whole mexican fans around him when floyd asked by Brian Kenny why he is fighting JMM instead a natural welterweight fighter?

Pacquiao-Cotto PPV numbers were 1.25 million buy versus Mayweather-Mosley’s numbers of 1.4 million PPV buys, you think those numbers are the lone reflection of purse splits? When Mayweather fought Hatton, who packed the venue? When he fought Mosley he was booed, those people came there for Mosley. You take this fight out of Vegas, ask Mayweather to sell a fight in a stadium, who shows up exactly?

Well it seems as if more people show up and tune in when those guys are fighting Floyd than when they're fighting Manny. Actually, the point is that more people watch Floyd period. And yes, the person who generates a higher revenue usually gets the higher split.

And switch, for the record I don't care who gets the higher split. The drug testing? Hell yeah but the split is of little importance to me. I'm just trying to explain to you why Floyd will get the bigger share. I'll be (pleasantly) surprised if they agree to 50-50. I believe this fight will go down but not with that split. No, not at all.

It got resolved quickly? Why does that matter? The point is, these little kids been crying how one fighter is "ducking" by wanting more money but when their idol does it, its fine and dandy. That's wack.

                      how bout.

                      50/50 for a draw.

                      55-45 to the winner.
