Bottom line is, Mayweather needs the money, Pacquiao does not. If Floyd demands the lions share and doesn't get it, he doesn't get d**k. He says he make $20 million fighting anyone but he didn't get that for Marquez and he won't get that for Sergio Martinez or Paul Williams. So other than Pac, who does Floyd fight? Pacman already stated one more fight and I retire a billionaire Filipino with another job in public office already secured. Pac doesn't get the $40 million payday either but come on, who needs it more. The $20 million (closer to $10 million after taxes) paid off his debt. So he is debt free but still has no money of his own. If they can't agree, EVERYONE LOSES and boxing will continue and as long as we get the Yonnhy Perez's, Abner Mares', etc., the sport will survive...
I couldn't agree with you more!

        FLOYD scared of SMALLER dudes.

TOO MANY DEMANDS by this ******. Just get the FIGHT on already.. If FLOYD wants to go down in history as one of the best boxers of all time.. he NEEDS to take down PAC since PAC is one of the TOP DAWGS in his era.. and this opportunity IS THERE with 50-50?? what else can you ask for?

Man that fight would be so huge that a 50 50 would be more than enough money for either fighter. Arums head is probably so hot that steam is literally rising from the top of his head.

One thing that looms in the back of my head is what if Pac had signed with goldenboy instead. Anyways, I can see a bunch of bs from both sides during negotiations, but this fight is so big that it will happen.

Manny was walking on Hatton over 1 % so dont think Manny is snow white when it comes to money he has always be a prick to deal with ,,,,,, they are prize fighters and money is a major part of negotiations because so many people dip into the pot , nothing wrong with Floyd wanting more his numbers blows Pacs and his numbers say he should get more .

                    Listen.........

MAYWEATHER doesn't want to fight! He's afraid because he knows he can lose. What you guys think? It's VERY CLEAR now! 50-50 is as GOOD as it gets for both. IF anyone deserves 60-40 it's MANNY. MANNY is a BIGGER draw than FLOYD. He did 700,000 by himself really. Who knew CLOTTEY other than hardcore boxing fans? MY POINT. FLOYD without DE LA HOYA, HATTON wouldn't be as big a draw. People like MANNY and that's why he's the bigger draw. People liked LEONARD, WHITAKER, HOLYFIELD, and DE LA HOYA. Nobody really likes FLOYD, they just appreciate what he does in the ring. He's an ASS-HOLE as a person and we're seeing it on display yet again.

Listen what made Floyd interesting was his behavior on 24/7, where he created this heel character, which means basically being himself except with the volume turned up all the way. People bought into it and started buying his PPV's simply to see him lose, that type of marketing will eventually wear out it's welcome, sooner or later people want to see you in compelling fights, against Pac it's compelling.

I seriously doubt he (Mayweather) could fill half a stadium, because I'm asking...who is his fan base? Would they travel to his venue outside of just Vegas? Obviously he won't fight anywhere but Vegas, but let's say he decided to stage a similar fight in Dallas versus Clottey, prior to Pac fighting him, with no HBO 24/7 support and no marketing support from Clottey, what do you think his numbers would have been?

From what I hear even though he sells out Vegas, halfway through his fights people are walking out. He needs to stop with this arguing about PPV numbers because at the height of his popularity versus the height of Pac's popularity, in context the numbers are comparable give or take a few percentage points, it's all relative at this stage...50/50 gets it done.
