WHAT A ***** MOVE THIS IS.. FLOYD has a chance to be one of the GREATEST with 50-50 split?? Every GREAT FIGHTER takes down the TOP DAWGS in his era.. it doesn't make sense to throw away that OPPORTUNITY when the split is 50-50 deal !! ...

50/50 is fair. Floyd ddserves no less but I can't argue with Pac if he says that he is no less than a 50/50 fighter.
If this fight doesn't happen where does Floyd go? Manny seems to be eyeing Margarito, Shane or Berto. Sometimes people get shot for fiity cent because of the point and Manny may feel like hey I will not bow down and that's it.
Floyd has the numbers leverage maybe but manny may be "thinking" Floyd "needs" this payday better than me based on his spending habits so maybe I will wait him out or see if he will take 8 to 10 to fight Paul Williams. They both could lose this big payday but pride many times is bigger and Floyd seems to put much emphasis on money more than pride, at least thats it seems.

Boxing is a business first bruh. I knwo we as fans just want to see the fights. But, this is what these guys do to feed their families. Mayweather is in a positionw where he should get the bigger slice of the purse. He's also in a position where he could fight Williams or Martinez and make about the same as he would make fighting Pac. People forget, Mayweather could demand 65%-75% of the purse against either of those guys and get it. And I personally think an event with Williams or Martinez would do just as well revenue-wise as Mayweather-Mosley did, which would give Money another $40M+ payday, which is likely what he would get to fight Pac. So I perfectly understand where he's coming from. Why take a deal that probably isn't fair to him at this point just to make an event with Pacquaio happen if he can make the same money in a fair deal with other fighters? Peopl won't see it that way. But in business, that's how it works.

he deserves more money floyd has been doing better ppv numbers than pacquiao vs common opponents and vs mosley he did better numbers than manny vs cotto

thats right. and at least floyd is noy offering silly cuts like 90/10. floyd deserves a bigger cut of the pie his ppv numbers are always better that manny's even with common opponets like DLH, hatton and marquez. floyds one fight with JMM did better than both of manny vs JMM combined. pax didnt go 50/50 with cotto. floyd should get more of the pie. but i hpoe he agrees to 50/50 so we can see him smash pac.

People are acting as if this is NEWS.....Floyd had said that if his PPV buys were more than Manny's,then he would demand more money and OST to the day....big deal.

You guys act like this is new info or something....Manny knew this was coming,and is now begging for the original bargain that HE turned down....he should have accepted it,because negotiations could rightfully work against him now.

Yo if you havent notcied Mayweather has took on the top dawgs in his era and beat them all. Wants to take on another one in Pac but pacs ***** ass turned down a smoking deal on March 13th but now the blood test is cool??? why now??? How does he think he could get the same deal?

I'm all for the fight but I can see how Mayweather wants more money when he just gave Pac 50-50 and the biggest bull ever in paying 1 mil every pound over. mayweather agreed to all that **** and Pac wussed out, you damn right your not getting the same deal. either way Pac is gonna make 35+ mil so TAKE THE DAMN FIGHT!!!

After 41 fights,an undefeated career record,ppv records,why does he want to "clean up" the sport now? CAN A LEGITIMATE FLOYD FAN ANSWER.

It is ****** to make the "after 41 fights" argument. Was Floyd going to demand OST after 17 fights? After 24 fights? C'mon, seriously?

Was Floyd going to demand that Oscar undergo OST in Floyd's 38th fight? Don't be silly, guys. The timing wasn't right. Now it is. It also helps that there are other Commissions and fighters who are committed to improved drug testing.

The justification:

Pac's last TWO trainers have been implicated in steroids. And Freddie Roach admitted that he knowingly ignored steroids use among his fighters. If nithing else, that should make ANY reasonable person su****ious.
