    Food for thought.
What? 32 is considered prime in boxing. Mayweather was 32 when they fought. He is in his prime; therefore, a prime Mayweather was fighting a past his prime Mosely that night lol

That is why pac vs may is intriguing coz their both in their prime when they face each other come nov, if it ever happens.

I still don't think so. It has nothing to do with power. It's the speed.

Mayweather's speed is much faster than Mosley even a primed Mosley.

Mosley tagged him on the 2nd round, but from then on, he was getting beat to the punch. He couldn't catch him.

I still don't think it would have been any different if it was a primed Mosley "IMO".

I consider prime to be when your skills, experience=your physical attributes. When you have the knowledge and skills to use the full potential of your athletic abilities then your prime.

Mayweather is not in his physical prime, hes not as fast or as reflexive as he used to be. Im not saying hes slow but hes clearly lost a bit of zip. He may be stronger but that's due to growing into his weight as a welter. You can argue he is in his mental prime where he has acquired so much experience and strategy that he has a answer for any situation.

The thing that makes Pac look su****ious is that what I said above is true, As fighters get old, go up in weight or go through wars they regress. Pac however after countless wars, jumping from 130 to 147 in 3 yrs entering his 15th yr as a professional fighter; has don just the opposite. Hes gotten stronger, faster and his chin has improved.

This why I personally believe he is using PEDs. Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa,Barry Bonds,Marion Jones,Roger Clemens some that i suspect that haven't or didn't get caught yet ( LT,James Harrison,Terrel Owens just to name a few). They all had similar stories that ended the same way.

So end of story, I dont consider Floyd or Manny to actually be prime. They can both still dominate though because Floyd is just so gifted up stairs so he can do things at a later age that rarely fighters can do, And Manny in my belief is using PEDs.

Carlos has the head of a dinosaur and a titanium chin, Floyd in his prime couldnt KO baldy. It made no sense for him to slug with baldy so he didnt.

Mayweather was in his prime. He is slower coz he bulked up and is now a legitimate welterweight. He is just faster when he was in the featherweights coz he was lighter and can carry his weight better same as pac.

But @ 32 a boxer is still in his prime most especially Floyd who doesn't get hurt that much in his last 40 fights.

Using your logic, explain how pac has moved up and gotten faster stronger and more punch resistance in a lesser amount of time. It took Floyd 5 yrs and according to you hes lost some of his speed in the process as a result of the wieght gain.

And boxer physical prime is the same as most sports 24/25-29/30.If your priming past after 10 years of wars, moving up 3 weight classes in 3 years, getting faster and stronger and your 30 in my eyes your suspect.

Bro, it only takes one punch to change the outcome of the fight. Did you watch UFC today. Iceman got ktfo with a counter and couldn't get up. It's not flimsy to think a prime Mosely could have finished him of with his power and speed working in harmony that night. Floyd maybe faster than a prime Mosely, but Mosely's power and speed is enough to finish mayweather that night for real. Remember, A past his prime Mosely caught a prime mayweather. And Mayweather is suppose to be faster that night right.

But understand that Mayweather recovered quickly and began to kick SSMs ass after the punch, His recovery is very underrated because he hardly ever hit so we arent able to observe it much. A prime Floyd takes a even harder punch and kicks SSMs ass even worse if you use your own logic. Especially when you look at the fact that shane fight now exactly as he has at his best and throughout his whole career. Floyd however was way more agressive when he was prime and at his most comfortable weight, think about that.

Bottom line is that any version of Floyd beats any version of SSM most likely, im saying 92% chance of Floyd winning.

The whole one punch argument is flawed. If shane landed when he was blah blah blah...

If "If" was fifth, we both be drunk.
