How's that? Penalosa KOd Gonzalez among a bunch of other good fighters, his record is a lot more impressive than Vazquez Jr, Vazquez Jr only has fought Sonsona, he holds a belt but is pretty much a prospect.

Penalosa god bless him was never that good at 122. Hell he lost to Ponce de Leon who was already a JuanMa victim a couple of years earlier.

Then Arum has the JuanMa-Penalosa fight.... which I felt was a step backward for JuanMa but I guess at least it wasn't Lontchi or Mtagwa.

Vasquez may be a prospect but he's a dangerous one at this point and on the rise.

Penalosa had seen better days and really was a fine champ at 115 but not against the big guns nowadays.

Jhonny Gonzalez was a good win, but Gonzalez has been so up and down in his career and also better at 118 then he was in later in his career as he proved when Nishioka shellacked him.


I like Penalosa but he was fading and getting older and not at his best weight.

I don't feel these threads should degenerate into who fought who.

They should be more like who is going to fight who and why they should fight who.

Caballero is a very seasoned fighter, Vazquez Jr packs a punch but he never seen anything close to Caballero that's for sure. Penalosa has seen them all, he had like 45 fight when he fought Juanma, not making any excuses but Juanma was sick as a dog when he fought Penalosa.
