You have to understand you worry about your wallet when youve proven yourself. At this stage lopez and gamboa aint proven boxers. I missed the days when prospects would face real live boxers not ****ing mismatches like lopez and gambo, chavez jr, most of the olympic team boxers that came out. Anybody remember how quick dlh, trinidad, tyson, etc face real challengers???? thats why you see ****ing upsets today like khan, ortiz etc because they are babied so much when a challenging opponent comes they don't know how to react or don't know what hit him.

he fails to understand when he uses that b.s. term "high risk low reward" he is simply saying that he prefers his fighter to have an easy fight. rather than one where he actually may have to dig deep. and prove that he is worthy of the accolades and the money that comes along with it.

you are absolutely correct when you say that this is the reason that when some of these fighters face adversity for the first time they fold because they are used to being spoon fed, and have a sense of entitlement without having actually having earned their stripes.

Well, I do hold Gamboa to the same standards that I do with Lopez and I am willing to criticize him too. But it's not like Rojas is a chump either. All these Rican nuthuggers on here need to get it through their thick head that John and Rojas are better than any fighter on Lopez's pathetic resume.

Cab is doing the right thing by telling Arum to shove it because if he beats John, nobody will be able to duck him. I think he'll beat John too because John is more hittable than what people make him out to be.
