I never said Gamboa has the balls to face Cab. When Cab beat Yourdan that bad I had a feeling Arum wasn't going to end up putting Gamboa against Cab.

It didnt Backfire. Gamboa turn down a fight with Elio Rojas that was almost done to go and fight Jose Rojas.

Well, I do hold Gamboa to the same standards that I do with Lopez and I am willing to criticize him too. But it's not like Rojas is a chump either. All these Rican nuthuggers on here need to get it through their thick head that John and Rojas are better than any fighter on Lopez's pathetic resume.
Cab is doing the right thing by telling Arum to shove it because if he beats John, nobody will be able to duck him. I think he'll beat John too because John is more hittable than what people make him out to be.

What does everybody make of a Caballero-Vasquez Jr. fight? They mentioned Vasquez Jr. in the story and man that would make Lopez look like a straight ducking ***** if Vasquez Jr. moved up in weight to fight him. And if Cab beat him, the Ricans on here would use weight as an excuse when they think that Lopez's win over Penalosa was a good win along with Vasquez Jr's win over Sonsona.

None of this, have jack **** to do with the fact Gamboa ducked the **** out of Caballero according to your own standar on Lopez.

I just want to know if it's true that JuanMa and Gamboa both demanded a million and if it's true they offered Rojas more than Cab.

If either scenarios are true, that's total horse****.

I blame the promoters big time in this one.

I don't think the actual fighters have any problem getting it on with each other but if either of the above is true, that's frickin pitiful.

But it is hard for me to understand why Top Rank won't have Gamboa fight Caballero. I mean after all, Gamboa did blitz the guy who would've beaten Lopez if he had another round or two to do so.

The really sad thing about this situation is when one of the mismatches that we finally get, goes bad, and the sacraficial lamb gets badly hurt, or killed, the promoters get away with it. They know that the cherry picking puts some ones health at risk and they don't care. They're not the ones getting thier asses kicked and they get paid no matter what happens. Thier fighter makes money with little risk and screw the other guy.
