What, Lopez and Gamboa are scared bitches. Its quite obvious now, and its also quite obvious that HBO and Showtime are too ****ing fat and lazy to force mandatory's and 50/50 splits. All boxing has ever been about is avoiding fighters... Its disgusting. There's only a few fighters like Perez and Mares who will fight the best and not avoid the best.

BoxingScene.com received a call from a furious Lou DiBella, who wanted to respond to an earlier story pertaining to the negotiations to make a featherweight fight between Celestino Caballero and Yuriorkis Gamboa for July 24 on HBO. In an earlier story, Gamboa's promoter Bob Arum claimed Caballero priced himself out, and WBC champion Elio Rojas is now the frontrunner to face Gamboa on that HBO date. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
Juanma and Gamboa are both overrated severely and fear being exposed by the superior talent in Caba.
Caba needs some ****ing recourse here. He's been blackballed badly for the last few years by coward prospects afraid to get their feet wet.Comment

IMO, THE fight at featherweihgt right now is Caballero-John. P4P they're the two best fighters in the division. So why not make that happen. Juanma and Gamboa are still in protect-mode. They're gonna fight the fights that keep them winning. John and Caballero are established. If Caballero can't get John, why not go up to lightweight and fight JMM? Hell, he's 7 foot tall anyway. I'd personally love to see what he'd do against a counter puncher like JMM. Personally, no featherweight wants to fight a guy 6 foot tall, that's good, and has little or no market value. He may have to take a page outta his jolly green giant cousin Paul Williams and just chase fights in multiple divisions.Comment

.....maybe, just maybe.
Maybe cause Rafael Marquez wasn't ranked on anybody's top 126 lbers or claiming to be the best featherweight, and is ****ing worn and torn to the bone after those wars. He beat up a proud veteran who unfortunately had nothing left and you know that. Don't try to defend JML or Yuri, its obvious that Arum wants to milk as much money without risking too much. I'm not gonna call anybody a ducker, but sooner or later Juanma and Gamboa will need to thoroughly prove themselves.Comment
