Peter beat a still relatively fresh James Toney twice and was coming off back to back wins over McCline and Maskaev. Gomez isn't all that bad really. Quite a skilled guy, and a great Cruiserweight champ. I've never been sold on Arreola who strikes me as a glorified clubfighter, but he's got a punch and always comes to fight. Kevin Johnson... ok I'll give you that one.

The Klits are just that good. People forget before they fought Peter, Gomez, Chambers, Brewster II etc they were supposed to loose these fights.

Funny how some people just will not give credit where its due.

If the klits didn't exist today everybody would be raving how Peter would KO Lewis. Chambers would beat holyfield. How good Peter vs Tyson would be etc

It isn't the worse challenger we seen thrown at the Klitschko's. But champs need to stay busy and with no worthy heavyweights out there this guy is alright.

Klitschko has stayed busy since his return, and has fought good opponents. And he isn't getting any younger so I can forgive him for taking a breather fight before another big matchup in the autumn. Plus, anything can happen in boxing. What a cinderalla story it would be if Sosnowski landed that one lucky punch that knocked Klitschko out? It's the Cotto-Jennings, Pavlik-Lockett of the HW division. I will be watching for sure.

Haye had better take the fight with Vitali next.

This "writer" conveniently forgets to mention that Vitali tried to make fights with Valuev, Haye, Solis... and they all wanted none of Vitali. At least Sosnowski had the balls to take the fight. I also wonder if he bitched when Jameel McCline got title shots in the past, since he also lost to Zuri Lawrence?

who else is there to fight for him.... seriously..
That's the case in point; who else are there to fight?

Instead people should be happy that for once we have a heavyweight champion who is very active defending his belt.

sosnowski is ok & I think done more than kingpin ever did but realistically between arreola, kingpin & sosnowski the biggest name on all 3 resumes in an old, retired mccline or old danny Williams...that doesn't say much people does it.kingpins best win was vs Devon vargas & he got a shot too.come on people vitali is taking the path of least resistance.sosnowskis loss to zuri I find not great but he's a tough pro.mccline & sosnowski are not even close...look at mcclines resume,he fought almost everyone of his era.never got the big 3 but almost everyone else but sosnowski built up a record as a longtime undercarder & he was knockout by art"the whooping crane"cook...a native Indian from Canada.really there have been worse defences but vitali's last couple are inferior, but that's how weak the division is...his last 3 defences & the only guy all 3 fought were fat, retired mccline & old danny Williams.that's on 3 guys resumes.arreola is okay but we all know the issues with him.arreola is better than sosnowski & kingpin.I cant believe how you build a record vs lesser opponents & beat Vargas & you klit fans say he's undefeated! So what peter mcneeley was undefeated did that make him a solid opponentfir Tyson? No so quit trying to sugarcoat it...vitali is fighting garbage now.the article is accurate saying at least guys fromthe past can garner interest from major television networks.after all to fully reach $$$ worth, you need hbo,showtime.etc.fighting sosnowski doesn't garner payperview...although i'm going to get it if it's available to me.
