I'd rather see Dawson fight Cloud than Bute if Cloud gets past Johnson like I said before, but at the same time Bute would look like a ***** if he turned down Dawson's offer to fight him after fighting a guy coming up in weight and coming off a loss.

AND, don't forget Dawson was a supermiddleweight not that long ago, he moved up to 175 in 2006, started his career in 2002, he was even fighting at 160 in 2005, so there is not a single doubt in my mind, Dawson can comfortably make 168.
You'll see, he will have to do it, can't fight in an empty division.
So Pac fighting at 130 in 2008 means he could comfortably make 130 today and easily make 135, right?
Hell Adamek was fighting at 175 in 2007, but I don't think anyone in their right mind thinks he still makes it today.

Mmkay.

So a weight drained Dawson dominates Bute? Like he dominated a 39 year old Johnson in the first fight?
Mmkay.
You brought Bute and Johnson out of nowhere. Irrelevant.

I would be seriously surprised if Dawson could make 168 comfortably.
The guy is seriously filled out at light heavyweight.

i don't like this move. chad is a fool if he does this. he needs to fight cloud, and wait on the guys at 168 to move up. he needs to try and unify.

It will get people familiar with who's at the top of 175. I also think the Cloud-Johnson fight should be a main event and not Alexander's fight with Kotelnik. Because it's a better fight on paper.
If Glen Johsnon wasn't the IBF mandatory, yeah you would be seeing Dawson vs Cloud right now instead of Dawson vs Pascal.
