You are doing Amir and the UK in general a great dis-services by comparing him to domestic moron John Murray; Why would Khan even consider fighting for the British or European titles when he is clearly A+ world class fighter? Makes no sense.

For all those that like to make the UK to be some kind of tolerant safe-zone, They are simply stealing the ideology of the US. The US give it your rich, Your poor and we will make them all they can be. Let be honest here admit it, South Asians (Indians/Pakistanis/****ladeshis) are treated like 1000th citizens, Ive seen it with my own eyes when I visited the UK.

To deny the UK has a massive racial/integration problem is to be either naive or duplicitous, Alot of "British" are racist towards Amir, Until the "British" prove in deeds and not cheap words alone thier tolerance and respect for all humanity. I have no reason to believe that the "British" are still a backward nation from which the US was freed.

On a seperate note, Why is it that people like Froch, Hatton, Mitchell get alot more following and support from the British than Khan? He is more talented than the lot of them put together.

Yes!!!! Look at France, Italy, Spain, Germany. There are NO job opportunities. None. You get your bread and water and not much else. This country is built by immigrants. My parents. My wife and her family. And millions of others dead and alive.

Poor immigrants are better here than anywhere else. Try being a Guatemalan immigrant in Mexico for example.

Mate, in my town there was a loyalist march last week. about 50-60 broke off from it and attacked an Irish pub and a flag shop in Glasgow.

The police had to lock everybody into the pub, arrested no-one and allowed loyalists to carry on their way.

That sort of incident happens every summer durig marching season across Scotland and Northern Ireland and is rarely reported but its still a hallmark of a racist society that uses violence to intimidate immigrants that have lived in a town for centuries.

That attitude has to be changed if British society wants to fight racism and xenophobia. You seem to want to ignore the fact that the problem is growing.

This kinda racism towards the Irish being centuries old has a lot to do with the racist culture of British society. It has to be fought. It was less than a century ago there were signs in bars in London that said No Blacks No Dogs No Irish.

I've already exposed the BNP stuff as bull****. Their supporters number about 1% of the population, at most.

I find this thread annoying, because I'm white, British, and a Khan fan. I've never met someone who hated him due to his skin-colour/whatever.

Its not just Glasgow. Its Ulster and Ireland too.

And there are plenty of Khan supporters here ****** and none ******, but mostly boxing fans that recognise he has improved since he fought Limond and Prescott and Limond has gone downhill.

A society that has inherent racism needs to be aware of it.
