If Paul Williams' first round KO win over Quintana is a fluke, then Lopez's win over Ponce is one too. You can't have it both ways.

the thing with you theory is that Quintana actually beat Williams the first time. De Leon did not beat Juanma

JuanMa will beat Rafa badly, I actually don't think he should take the fight because its almost not fair even having a young strong FW who moved up because he physically had to against a way past prime blown up BW who looked very soft to me at 126 last night.

Don't let last nights win fool you, Rafa is done but just had more left than Izzy who is beyond shot.

juanma never lost to ponce though and neither did cotto lose to quintana, good fighters almost never lose to average competition.

lueveno , penalosa , ponce de leon in his last 7 fights.

it's been less than 2 years since he became a champion.

now list all the big names caballero has fought since winning a title 5 years ago.

Riiiiight we got it Quintana beat Paul in the 1st fight, yep saw that fight and I agree he beat Paul(barely but he beat him). Very next fight Paul KO's Quintana(faster than Cotto if that matters any). 12 Rd Split decision vs. 1st Rd BLOWOUT I think it's safe to say that the 1st fight was a off night for Paul and 2nd fight was.......well pretty much how things would go if you put Quintana in there with Paul for a 3rd, 4th, or 5th time. You can hang on to the 1st fight as long as you need to buddy, but NEWSFLASH; they fought a 2nd fight and that fight overshadows the 1st fight by far.

                      Nobody wanted Caballero.
He had to go to Thailand to beat Somsak
He had to go to Canada to beat Molitor
He had to go to Venezuela to beat Parra
He had to go to Mexico to beat Castillo

He begged everyone for fights forever, and they ducked him.

That's not his fault. He never shied from saying he wants JuanMa and has defended his title numerous times.

You can't blame him for wanting the best and not getting them because he's made it abundantly and crystal clear he wanted them all.

Caballero is a high risk low reward fight even when he had 2 belts at 122.

I am not gonna say JuanMa was scared but they weren't exactly trying very hard to make that fight.

Caballero beat an undefeated PDL 5 years ago.
Was the first one to knock him down as well.

Caballero has always been trying to get everyone.
