There both good, but I'm incline to go with J.M. Marquez. He's a little more complete a fighter then brother Rapheal.

They've thrown some of the most sublime combinations I've ever seen. I mean the punch variety, creativity, precision, power, and speed is just surreal...

JMM better boxer, one of the best combination puncher in the sport

Rafa has more power and willing to **** it out, but also has good technical skills

But I gotta disagree w/ the bold. People forget how good Two Sharp Johnson, Timmy Austin, and Mabuza were when Rafa fought them and stopped them.

His reign at Bantam is one of the best of AT and shouldn't be overlooked just because those guys don't have the same name recognition that the bigger guys do.

Rafa doesn't need to fight Juanma or Vic to prove anything, his legacy is set. Those fights are just cherries on top imo.

Dude has been dominating a long long time.
NO, I agree 100%. We arent talking about legacy. We are talking about what he can do to surpass his brother. Venus Williams is an ATG no matter what but she would have to do more to pass her sister who is even more of an ATG. Thats only my point

            laughing at the poll results.

            should be closer than that.

5 wins over mark johnson , israel vazquez and tim austin trumps juan manuel marquez's wins.

look at where casamayor , barrera , medina , etc. were in their careers when juan manuel beat them.

now look up where johnson , vazquez and austin where when rafael beat them.

Your posts about JMM are pretty predictable, but I've gotta admit it looks like he's just totally conceding the end of his career when it comes to closing it out with a ****. This Diaz rematch is like the most pointless fight I can think of regardless of how exciting the first fight was.

I don't want to see Darchinyan get butchered in a mismatch either, but at least Rafael is getting right back in the ring after last night it appears. I think guys like Caballero and Gamboa are high risk, low reward but I'm pretty sure that Rafael will try to go out with a win over Lopez. And if he acheives it, man that would put his brother to shame.

I know that it appears that GBP screwed JMM out of the money for that fight with Khan, but Nacho admitted he didn't think JMM belonged over 135. Okay, fair play. But who is there for him to fight at 135 that's even in the least bit worthwhile besides Katsidis? Guerrero is a decent opponent too. But Nacho went on record and said he didn't want JMM fighting Katsidis. Okay then, so who is JMM gonna fight after the Diaz rematch? I sometimes understand the dirt you kick on JMM, where Dap just blindly worships him.

Tua hates Juan Manuel Marquez, but he actually wanted him to beat Valero because he hated Valero worse.

I don't why Tua doesn't like certain fighters. It's usually the cool, colorful ones with unique styles that he doesn't like.

                  No surprise he picked Rafa.

juan manuel marquez is a great fighters and probable HOFer.

i don't agree with how people greatly exagerrate his greatness.

he has great skills but his resume is lacking up to recently (against a very past it casamayor and barrera)

"claiming" to be ducked by barrera , morales and hamed does NOT add to one's resume.

juan manuel marquez nuthuggers who overrate him make no sense. they're as bad as *******s and *****s who think their man is GOAT.
