IMO they're equal technically. The only difference is their temperament and approach.

JMM is more willing to be methodical and use his skills to win easily, whereas Rafa is more prone to being dragged into wars even when he could win fights easily by just using his AWESOME skills.

Nah Jack. Raffy is good but JMM is top 5 and maybe 2nd best to Floyd in terms of being techniqal. You cant go wrong with either but I think most would pick JMM as the better guy. However, I think if Raffy takes some big fights down the stretch and wins then he could surpass his bro which no one wouldve thought a year or 2 ago. He's got big fights out there against Vic, Lopez, and so on. He wins these and he's in a different light

I love JMM a lot. But I might love Raffy more... He's such a little badass...

But I gotta disagree w/ the bold. People forget how good Two Sharp Johnson, Timmy Austin, and Mabuza were when Rafa fought them and stopped them.

His reign at Bantam is one of the best of AT and shouldn't be overlooked just because those guys don't have the same name recognition that the bigger guys do.

Rafa doesn't need to fight Juanma or Vic to prove anything, his legacy is set. Those fights are just cherries on top imo.

Dude has been dominating a long long time.

I think this is more or less spot on. The 'less' being that I consider Rafael ever so slightly less talented than his brother.

I just love the way their combinations flow ('flow' being the absolute perfect word to describe their combination punching.)
