the bottom line is, they heard mayweather say he was going to demand testing "all the way up to the fight, and declare a 60-40 split," this time around.
he deserves it, and now top rank realizes what a great deal they had going the first time.
now i'm not going to play cheerleader for a fighter during the negotiation process. if mayweather agrees to the previous deal he offered, great. if he puts forth the new demands he said he would this time, he deserves it.
bottom line is, top rank knows he does also, and they want to go back to the "old terms," otherwise, they'll paint mayweather as the "bad guy" and try to blame him for the fight not happening this time also.
it'll be interesting to see what he does. IMO, he might accept the 14-day previous deal, and he'll request 60-40 or close to it. we'll see.

Just got off the phone with Floyd Mayweather Sr to ask him about Pacquiao's willingness to accept the 14 day cutoff for the PED drug testing. He said, "I don't really want to get up in that topic. Whatever Pacquiao's doing he's doing, and whatever he ain't doing he ain't doing."
