I deleted the post because I decided the thread was too effing ****** to participate in, BUT,

it's nothing to do with who's better, comparing Malignaggi to Mayweather is just lazy. Malignaggi isn't "a poor man's Floyd", he's just Malignaggi - their styles aren't alike and they don't defend wholly alike even if they share some of the same techniques, they don't put them together in a similar style, so it's just a ****** thing to say.




And yeah, Kirkland's fun -- and, jokes aside, he's better to watch than Jeff Lacy ever was -- but Valero was a different zone of feral intensity (and had a lot more potential besides).

I agree on that point. Before he went to prison. I liked where he stood in the division even though I dont rate him that high.

But **** 154 is loaded beyond belief now though. So we will get some great fights. I hope he can still make 154 though.

Thats exactly whatI was talking about. exact same fight I watched too and the only fight I've seen or heard he's been down in. It's his style. But like I also said, the same can be said about Williams. Cintron landed hard before that fall, and Paul took it which I give him credit for but it definitely looked like it made him go "o ****" in his mind haha. But he might not be that fortunate in all of his fights.

I just hope they eventually fight. That would be a sick ass fight.

I don't know bro, Pitula is a very durable guy man. And, I was there live when Valero starched him out in 2 rounds. I have not seen Kirkland do that to a durable guy.

pitaula was in his late 30s early 40s. he wasnt know prime ironed chin george chuvalo. even that ko wasnt no pacquiao hatton sleeper.




valero & kirkland have similar power & their ko records justify it.

If that clip proves Kirkland has a weak chin, then Paul Williams must have a Glass/Khan chin. Sergio sent his eyes rolling in the back of his head like he was the Undertaker or some ****.

I don't think it's world class and full of world beaters.

But it'd be foolish to say it's not exciting as hell.

and probably a lot more that I can't think of off the top of my head that could make 154, but if you take out Foreman and match any of those fighters up in any way shape or form, you got the potential for a highlight reel KO, fight of the year candidate, or BOTH!!!

I think 140 may be more stacked, but I think 154 is more exciting.
