It was because Nas thought he could beat anyone with little training. He thought he could blast through MAB like he was Paul ingle or something!

Crap couldn't post link. Well go on youtube, search for little prince big fight.

      Watch it.

It shows you where his mind was at which is what boxing is all abut. The hugner there or not?

Watch the clip of training and sparring. Emmanuel Steward wasn't happy.

      Then you make your assessment.

I always say it, He was way past his best he lost interest in boxing and just loved the lime light,
He got lazy and just went for an early ko because of his unreal power,
Manny Steward (his trainer for the MAB fight) even said his preparation was terrible

            Was Barrera?

Complete wars with both Morales & McKinney, knocked out by Junior Jones, the Hamed fight being his 50+ fight, it works both ways.

Yes, in fact for around two fights before that he was going downhill.

It was not because his atributes declined but because he lost his dedication to train hard for fights. The documentary covering Hameds camp before the MAB fight proves this.

I thought he was hurt by Danny Alicea. He did recover quickly but I still remember the look on his face when he got dropped. That was a mean right. I think Naseem was in his prime against Barrera but not as focused as he should've been. But then again, you could say that for his training during the last half of his career. Not that it matters - even on his best day, Naseem couldn't have beaten Barrera.

I think he was past his best, but I think MAB beats him in his prime anyway.

Hamed's training had become a joke, he surrounded himself with his family, a bunch of "yes men" who shouted "amazing champ" when he looked lacklustre in training

Hamed had become a celebrity, wasnt training right and wasn't serious anymore.

put it this way, if Tyson was past prime against Douglas, then Hamed certainly was against MAB
yes i agree. fact is he was a tad past his best, Also Naz just couldnt get himself up for it when he fought in america like he did with all his fans cheering him on. He had the potential to beat everyone around. he just couldnt get over the hit on his confidence when he realised he could be hit and hurt, ie kevin kelly!!
