Well we saw how ripped Jeff Lacy looked vs a Joe Calzaghe who looked like he just got off the couch and went inside a ring with his Pavlik-esque body. 120-108.

Calzaghe looks in bad shape to you? I thought Calzaghe looked ripped in the sense of not being bulky! Calzaghe has the body of a fast fighter!










And Calzaghe for not being big and bulky like Lacy seemed to have his opponents backing up all the time, i guess his fast hands bothered them or he may hit harder then he gets credit for?

What worries me is that these little discussions about what could have been are more entertaining than these Klitschko fights. Then you get people like Tunney saying we're haters. It's really not hatred at all, just boredom.

It's hard to criticize the Klitschkos for being too good for everyone else.

I personally enjoy watching these two great athletes in action. It would be nice if they had more challenges, sure. But again, that's not something they can control, and they don't duck anyone. When they're gone, people will miss them when they realize that all that is left is a bunch of belt-trading mediocrities.

I am a big Klitschko fan but I don't deny their fights are boring.

It's just that to me their fights are boring because the opponents make no attempt to win the fights. I don't really blame the Klits, especially not Vitali.

People want this Haye fight cause they think it will be exciting. Maybe more exciting than the Johnson or Chambers fights but by how much? David Haye, if ever faced with a Klitschko, is gonna spend the whole night retreating and fighting off his back foot hoping to land one big punch. The Klitschkos just scare people away from taking any chances against them, Haye would be one of the more easily deterred.

Briggs is a guy who would be dangerous to most everyone even today. I think he is too far gone at this point to be a threat to Wlad but any normal size heavyweight without a decent jab could lose to Briggs on any given night.

I'd love to see Briggs in there with Haye. Haye has no jab and would be forced to beat Briggs at his own game before he gassed out himself.
