I saw Evora fight against local fighter Juha Haapoja. He's not very good either, to put it mildly.

As I said, atleast it's for the EU title. I don't expect Bertino to offer Helenius much of a challenge.

I'm behind Helenius 100%. It's not like I was even criticizing him, all I said that his opponent isn't a very good fighter from what I've seen, which is obvious looking at Bertino fight. If you know anything about the sport that is.
Seriously, you may know a fair bit about European boxing but only on the surface.

Behind him? You never support a European fighter.

You're too negative about him. You're not taking into consideration that Helenius injured his hand in his last fight and so hasn't been sparring - it's not the right time to fight a top opponent.

Or perhaps you didn't know that because you don't really follow the best current Finnish heavyweight's career.

False statement that has absolutely no truth to it.

How am I negative about him? I'm only negative about his opponent, actually I'm realistic about him. Bertino's not very good and it's there for all to see which you cannot deny. He's not a very good fighter and that's all I said. Atleast you admit that Bertino is not a top opponent. I never claimed that Helenius should fight one.

I never said anything about Helenius at all. I think he's the best prospect "we" have had in years, even better than Asikainen, although he fights out of Sweden and lives in Germany so I won't claim that he's completely "ours". I'm not sure if he will go all the way but I imagine he will be the first boxer of Finnish descent to fight for the world title in 50 years since Olli Mäki challenged Davey Moore for the world featherweight title.

I thought that Audley Harrison was the European heavyweight Champion, having just won the title last month??

Harrison is in possession of the EBU European title, but there's another version of it called the EBU European Union title, which has less prestige. It was recently held by Francesco Pianeta who vacated it.

Bertino knocks out that fat finnish hypejob. He'll finnish him.

Bertino won't last 4 rounds if Helenius takes it seriously.

Helenius will finnish him off with a right hand.

You put a negative slant on everything. No matter which European fighter it is, you still put a negative slant on things.

I have been reading your posts and I have spotted a trend. You are quite subtle with what you are doing.

It's nice of you to read my posts. Care to prove any of this though? I see a lot of statements made without a lot of truth to them.

Mark my words: Bertino is a real tough cookie. If he decides to train a little he'll give Helenius some problems. I don't think he is as bad as you make it look. He had a good fight in Russia against Icannotrememberhisnameski and made a good account of himself despite fighting with broken ribs (or at least a ribinjury).
