You make good points. Personally, I've always respected B-Hops skill level. His fights with Antwon Echols, Keith Holmes, Joppy, Trinidad, Vanderpool, etc... showed me what a tough SOB Hopkins is.

I don't care for his personality at all. He's always struck me as a con artist that will do or say anything to fit his agenda. He's also the dirtiest son of a ***** I've ever seen in a boxing ring.

Truth is his biggest wins came against former welterweights (tito) and lightweights (oscar). The Pavlik win was pretty damn impressive though. Remember, Pavlik gave Martinez more trouble than he gave to Hopkins.

I think Hopkins is an all time great. It's just a shame he's such a low character individual.

People over here in Jersey **** on him, and we're basically philly where I live. People over here show more love to Roy Jones Jr then Hopkins. Its hard to like a dude who is known to be dirty, and its not just because of his age. He did Antwon Echols so dirty in the rematch. He hit dude behind the head with power shots. LOL! He faked a shoulder injury. Bernard was a mess.
