You don't know anything about Katsidis moron, he keeps his guard up alot lately. Not many punches get through. He has gotten alot better since the Casamayor fight. And idiot, Casamayor is a southpaw. If a fighter with worse defense like Juan Diaz can give Marquez problems, then you bet your ass Kats will cause him much more problems. While Katsidis is blocking punches with his gloves, Diaz blocks punches with his face.

Marquez doesn't want any part of Katsidis, he'll run away. And if he does fight Kats, ppl like you are already making excuses for him saying past-prime. Katsidis wanted Marquez for years, but Marquez camp knows stylistically Kats is a nightmare for him. Juan Diaz gave Marquez hell!

i think kats beats both diaz n jmm i was going for mitchell but kats came in with that spartan helmet i knew it was gonna be a war i dont think jmm can take any more punishment so i give the advantage to the younger n hard hitting kats

I don't think there is any point in Marquez fighting Katsidis. On top of that, Marquez shouldn't even be fighting Diaz-- who really just lost to Malignaggi twice. And besides, Marquez already beat Casamayor and Diaz, both of whom beat the pulp out of Katsidis.
Marquez should be looking to win another title in a different division to upscale his name again. I respect the man, but since his loss to Floyd, his name has lost some spark in the lesser boxing circles. I mean, the guy is getting old. I believe that he could still be competitive with the likes of Alexander, Bradley, and Khan-- and if he keeps getting better, Ortiz.
Another thing: With the exception of Soto, the lightweight division is relatively weak. Marquez should vacate his belts as a favor to the up and comers, as the lesser of two evils.

If Marquez is going to campaign at lightweight then he needs to defend against Katsidis or else vacate the title.

But yeah, I would rather see JMM fight some of the 140 pounders.

Diaz already beat Katsidis.
JMM can counterpunch him all night I just don't know if JMM has it in him still. He is getting pretty old. Kats still has a lot to prove and is hungry, so I would give him the slight edge in a fight with JMM.

I'll give Marquez the Diaz rematch as a tune-up after the Mayweather fight, but he better fight Kat next or if he can't make LW anymore vacate your title move up to JWW and try to make history, if he does neither of those, he will loss tremendous respect from me.
