Katsidis has been working hard and has improved somewhat.
The accumulation of attritious (apologies for made-up word) fights will inevitably catch up to him, but at this stage the wars he's been in have given him more than they've taken out of him. He's experienced and improved from his younger self, he's got bags of heart and determination and he's a handful for anyone I can think of currently at 135.
You don't know anything about Katsidis moron, he keeps his guard up alot lately. Not many punches get through. He has gotten alot better since the Casamayor fight. And idiot, Casamayor is a southpaw. If a fighter with worse defense like Juan Diaz can give Marquez problems, then you bet your ass Kats will cause him much more problems. While Katsidis is blocking punches with his gloves, Diaz blocks punches with his face.
are you forgeting that JUAN DIAZ whooped katsitis ass???
Michael Katsidis moved to 27-2 (22 early) by blasting aside London’s Kevin Mitchell in three rounds at West Ham’s Upton Park ground on Saturday night. The Australian boxer is now the man of the minute with a speculative offer from Amir Khan’s people on the table for the Toowoomba, Queensland native. This is just reward for Katsidis’ road warrior mentality, he has not boxed on Australian soil since 2006, but ‘The Great’ has his sights firmly fixed on a proper WBO title tilt against the winner of Juan Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz, who fight for the full title on July 31st [Click Here To Read More]
lets get it on then....Katsidis Win By UD over Marquez
Damn Katsidis cut through Mitchell like a knife through hot butter…he beat that boy like a drum and I agree that Katsidis has gotten much better since the Casamayor fight (whom he knocked out of the ring). He uses much more head movement now, has improved his defense by picking off shots better and seems to use his own variant of controlled aggression better. He’s still a maniac..but no longer such a reckless mad-man. He basically has matured as a fighter and is coming into his own. The cuts might be a problem against JMM though…it would be a good fight for both. I’ll say this though, Katsidis for me is the most exciting fighter to watch…I love watching this dude, he’s all warrior and cojones and when he says he would die in the ring, I believe him!!!
He’s also way more exciting to watch than Hatton the hugger ever was…..JMM VS. KATSIDIS let’s do it!!

^^ This is a great post, and you pushed it over the top with the bold. Rep coming.
Marquez doesn't want any part of Katsidis, he'll run away. And if he does fight Kats, ppl like you are already making excuses for him saying past-prime. Katsidis wanted Marquez for years, but Marquez camp knows stylistically Kats is a nightmare for him. Juan Diaz gave Marquez hell!
Says the Katsidid ball washer
hahhaha
nice try
its not an excuse
if he loses he loses
but he wont lose
why is he a nitemare?
cause he rushes in face first w
He has no D
thats why he is always bleeding
JMM is a great counterpuncher with crisp sharp accurate punches
