I didn't see the Mitchell fight but I did see the Escobedo fight, if Kat rushes in like he did against Escobedo and lets himself get tagged by a Marquez uppercut, I see Marquez knocking out Kats (yea he is getting a better defense but he was walking into too many uppercut opportunities, now Escobedo can't throw it like Marquez, if Kat gets tagged by them enough times its goodnight), now I don't think Marquez will get old overnight, I think Mayweather was just the better man and he was in a weight class he shouldn't have been. I think Kat has a chance just cause he is big and strong but if Kat doesn't finish Marquez early, expect a late KO from Marquez.

People say he looked fat at 142 (he weight in 148 on fight night against May not 142 and weighed in 141-142 against Pac)but I think Marquez can fight at 140 and do ok against some 140 pounders, if he comes in 137-138 and rehydrates to 141-143 I think he will be ok, I think Marquez could be competitive against Tim, Devon and Khan, now can he beat them, I honestly don't know anymore, but I'm sure he will get respect if he tried.

If Marquez still has enough left in him, he takes Katsidis apart. I don't know why this fight hasn't been made yet, but I think it has to do with that Floyd fight. Which was a complete joke of a fight to be made to begin with. Marquez has to come back down to weight slowly. If he takes Diaz out quickly, or without takin too much punishment, he needs to get in there with Mike as soon as possible.

I think both Diaz and JMM have both peaked and are on the down slope. Unfortunately, I refuse to pay for a PPV between the two but I will get to watch it a week later for free. At that time, I can watch and decide what I think. One thing about Katsidis is he was kicking the crap out of Casamayor when he got caught and with a more controlled aggression, I think he could take out both Diaz and JMM. But first, I need to see how those guys look in their next fight and go from there...

Don't make the mistake of thinking that what you saw against Mayweather is any indication of Marquez's current state. That fight was a cash grab for Marquez and was put together by Golden Boy to play into Mayweather's ego. Let him beat Paquiao's toughest opponent to lure him into believing he can beat Paquiao with ease. Cause at the end of the day that's what Mayweather really wants. He actually believes he can beat Paquiao, just not easily so it's been a ***** for Arum and De La Hoya to put hte fight together.

I'll make my prediction on Katz vs JMM when I see how Marquez looks in the Diaz fight. Diaz isn't the same, he's like a poor version of what Katsidis is now. Katsidis has improved IMO.
