Thats about as sad a heavyweight list as you will ever see. Vitali needs to fight Toney, Byrd or even Brewster to try and regain any credability he once had.

I agree that VK needs to raise his level of competition. I also can't blame VK entirely because a big reason why we're not seeing any unification bouts is because of promoters like Don King.

I agree with u, I am Klitschko fan and I love HW fights, these guys need to fight more then once a year, right now everythign is about money to tell u the truth its getting old allready..

But the truth is; they would be making more money if they fought more often because of the sheer quantity( 2fights>1fight) and the fact that they would be making more fans and rewarding the existing ones.

Don King is the boxing equivallent to the plague. They need to find a cure for him.

I'm sick of all these heavyweights calling themselves the real champ, and not fighting anyone. What the hell would fighting Maskaev prove? Fighting Toney is a bigger money fight, at least, and shows he wants to take on the top guys, even if it would be a mismatch, due to size. He really needs to get his act together and start fighting some bigger name guys.

Listen, V. Klit is trying to make a buck but HBO lost a few of those on his fight against Williams. That was an optional defense so he should be obligated to fight his mandatory (the winner of Rahman/Barrett to be decided in the WBC eliminatory bout). He is a hypocrite because he's fighting to get Byrd to fight Wlad as his mandatory yet he doesn't want to fight his own mandatory. What kind of crap is that?

Listen, I'd rather watch reruns of the Sopranos than see Vlad face Oleg. What has he done to deserve a shot? If HBO isn't anteing up the money for a fight then I guess V. has no choice other than face his mandatory of James Toney (because that's where HBO will lay the bucks down). If he choses to fight Oleg he'll be losing out on quite a few dollars, not to mention his favoritism at HBO (who already doesn't like Don King).

If V. hates King fighters so much (and the fact that they hold titles), all he has to do is fight them and take the titles. Right?

Oscar Larios and Zab Judah fought 4 times in a 12 month span since the beginning of 04'.

I said show me a champ that defends his title 4 times a year.
1 - Judah wasn't a champion and he only fought once after beating Spinks for the titles.
2 - Larios fought 4 times, but he did not defend his title 4 times..
And even though I said show me a champ in any division.. You can't possibly compare the amount of damage caused by Bantamweight and Heavyweight...
