He actually doesn't have an opponent after.

You know what wore on me for a year? Cloud's primadonna act. And he beat a has been and Mike Wood then finally was forced to fight Clinton Woods.

Cloud shoulda been taking names and yet people blame Dawson for honoring rematch clauses.

What's everybody's problem with Cloud? The rematch with Johnson is gonna be re-scheduled.

His lack of notable wins, high ranking because of two wins over gate keepers, and inactivity for no excusable reason.

IMO that's all Dawson's fault. The WBC wanted Dawson to fight his mandatory Adrian Diaconu in March 2008 before he fought Glen Johnson the first time. Instead Dawson fought Glen and Diaconu fought Chris Henry. The winner of those matches will face each other, hardly anyone knows about this, but this is true which is why he dropped the WBC belt in the summer of 2008. IMO Chad should of dropped the WBC belt and rematched Glen Johnson right away.

As a Dawson fan during that time, I didn't sweat it, but then he got into that whole Tarver fiasco, and both Tarver fights were flops, it hardly gave him recognition at all, and of course that made Dawson inactive.

If that was RJJ or Hopkins they would of taken care of their mandatory.

Can anyone name me somebody who is not an HBO contracted fighter and does not have GBP or Haymon connection that fight more than 2 times a year?

He signed to Diaconu and then it was Diaconu who got injured and pulled out of the fight. That is not Dawson fault.

And, then when the fight was in talks again. Dawson went to bigger and better things.
