Tarver was ranked higher, bigger name, and more money than Diaconu at the time. That is I said he went on to bigger and better things. And, Diaconu who pulled out the original. You making it seem like he ducked Diaconu which is not true.

Hey idiot I'm talking about March 2008 before he fought Glen Johnson. The WBC gave Dawson the option to fight Diaconu in March, OR fight Glen Johnson in April then Diaconu during the summer, of course we know what decision Dawson made. True Tarver was a bigger name, but he didn't need to drop his belt to fight him, also the Tarver fight was a flop (only 600 people in attendance) and barley upped his status. And yeah I think Dawson did duck Diaconu, even though I felt Dawson would have beaten him anyway, which says a lot about his confidence.
