    What is it really?

If Pacman fights Margarito and Floyd fights Martinez in the fall, who is really dodging the best competition? The guy who fights a cheater or the guy who would take on the junior middleweight and middle weight championship?

At the same time, Floyd says he is all about the money...then why not just take the biggest pay check which is Pacman? I think it's all about promotion, just a gimmick to keep the money rolling because until one of these two lose they know everyone will continue to tune in.

so margarito gets caught with blocks in his handwraps, fights shane mosley with legal wraps, gets knocked out in 9 one sided rounds, gets suspended for a year, a year passes and hes still not allowed 2 fight in the usa, he goes over 2 mexico, brings 17,000 (very impressive i must say) and beats robert garcia in 10 rounds and hes now on his way 2 fighting the #1 ranked fighter in the world. does any1 know why??? cuz hes TOP RANK. thats why!!! arum mentioned texas as the site of the fight, i wonder why??? big mexican following coming out for a possible fight between pacquiao and a mexican (margarito). and im not bashin tony, i aint mad at him. get the biggest fight u can get. as for arum, hes full of **** man. he just wanna keep everything in house. if not margarito, how about he mention pacquiao fighting martinez at 154??? i mean, hes mentioned manny goin up 2 fight yuri foreman b4, so why not sergio? oh wait foreman is TOP RANK and matinez is not, i almost 4got.

If you followed your fighter a bit better, you would know that Martinez said his 3 choices of future opponent, in order, were: Floyd, Margarito then Williams. Top rank today notified Lou di Bella that they are currently not interested because they are waiting to see what happens with the Pac fight. That leaves floyd, then williams. If floyd fights Manny then Marg's back in the frame followed by williams. Regardless im sure he has more than 2/3 fights left, meaning he will re-match williams sooner or later. It might just not be his next fight. After his last performance he has some momentum/leverage when negotiating for a mega fight, something he has worked his whole carer towards. Face the facts williams dont sell tickets. Be patient - stop hating.
I'm not sure where you get the impression that I'm hating. I applauded Martinez for wanting to get an opportunity at Mayweather. I believe that he has paid his dues along the way to earn such a match where he would earn the largest pay of his career.

My only problem is how could he rank an arguably physically diminished fighter like Margarito, who was nearly decapitated by Sugar Shane Mosley above Paul Williams, who he has admittedly acknowledged was the toughest fight of his career?

It's just that in my opinion, rematching with a weakened, shopworn and water downed version of the present Margarito is simply meaningless to me. He has absolutely nothing to prove by fighting him at this point. He literally mops the floor with him now and everyone knows it; Including you.

**** why do we still call it 'boxing', we should just call it 'Top Rank' like people refer to mma as "UFC" cause that's what this fcking sport is turning into, it fcking pisses me off after years of me, especially all the ol' timers (good connotation) here for sticking with the sport and defending it when people ranted about it being corrupted and having no legitimacy, there's a poison in boxing and the best thing we can do to decrease it is get rid of bob arum.
