As for Ndou....it's obvious what that fight was about......Floyd fought him in this ometown and needed an opponent he could look really good against....thats prob wouldn't have happened against SJ, which would have been a chess match.
OK Sosa was not a PPV fight. And, a Johnston fight would not have been in PPV either.

There is no excuse from either Shane or Floyd not to fight Stevie Johnston while they were at 135.

    None.

I know Floyd expressed interest in the fight verbally.....i have no idea if it was ever considered by any parties.......and you are prob right....

      .....but i ask this question......

Was there any excuse for Pac not to fight Joan Guzman????

Both had cleaned out the division to a point where the only logical fight that remained was btw each other too see who was the best....it didn't happen......

None at all. He should of fought Guzman instead of the unnecessary Barrera rematch.

Of course the JMM rematch> Guzman. But, no excuses on why he didn't fight Guzman and instead fought a rematch with a guy he dominated and was coming off a lost.

Yeah, Winky's size and style would have made a difference in that one. At that time Floyd wasn't ready.,

You don't know what you're talking about. Just fall back.

I'd pick Floyd over a prime Morales. The one at 130 would get KO'ed. I would have picked Marquez over Morales too.
