You nailed it...........Floyd before moving to 47 and chasing big money fights with ODLH would have fought any big name fighter.....esp at 130 and 135. In the lower weights Floyd is a fighter who couldn't understand why he had no popularity and couldn't get big money fights....to him he was the most skilled and the best, therefore he deserved exclusive contracts with HBO and big money fights.........he was upset it diodn't work that way.....and hence...now u see the new Floyd....the one that understands how boxing works!!!!!!
Floyd is a product of the current boxing system..........
Hes just doing what he witnessed being done to him.Comment

OK... But, he didn't fight Stevie Johnston at 135 who was willing to fight Floyd. And, was better than Sosa and Ndou.Floyd before moving to 47 and chasing big money fights with ODLH would have fought any big name fighter.....esp at 130 and 135.

Stevie IMO also beat Castillo twice and was ranked in the top 3 at SFW around this time. Ahead of Sosa and Ndou who was not even ranked at 135.Comment

That is all true......but would that fight have gotten on HBO PPV at that particular tiem???? Prob not. Floyd had some fights at 135 and moved up to chase a "PPV" fight with Gatti.
As for Ndou....it's obvious what that fight was about......Floyd fought him in this ometown and needed an opponent he could look really good against....thats prob wouldn't have happened against SJ, which would have been a chess match.Comment
