come on man, you cant count throw away fights like that. He was off for 7 months and just wanted a tuneup before the Chico fight against an average opponent. That **** aint nothing like facing JLC. Im not making excuses. I just think 2 things about Floyd. He's going to win by alot in most cases but that doesnt mean you are always going to get the good Floyd. I think some fights he just comes in to pat & run. The other thing is that in some fights against much bigger guys, he's just going to tap & run if he doesnt feel comfortable at that weight yet.

People try to play it now like he's picking on all these small guys when he had a ton of fights where guys outweighed him by alot in the ring, including against JLC who was much bigger & stronger. When Floyd did fight back he would get the best of him but his mindset most of the time was to stick & move. Pac wouldnt be undersized and he wouldnt be moving anywhere but forward. JLC's defense is average and Pac's Southpaw style would **** his world up just like he was doing in sparring

Actually Emanuel Augusts is better than an average fighter. Much better than his record indicates. To not let his record fool you. Average he is not. And, it was a LW fight.

Floyd had 5 fights at LW not 4, 5 The Augustus fight was he first not Castillo.

The reason Castillo gave Floyd trouble in both fights was because he came forward behind a long, effective jab. Castillo, like his idol, will forever be noted for his work in close quarters but watch his two fights with Stevie Johnston. His skill level wasn't just good, it was elite.

I know bro but honestly didn't Morales do the same thing with his lead jab and also his straight right hand? He was effective against Pac in the first fight but in the 2nd and 3rd fight , what I saw was that style wouldn't work against Pac anymore (Cotto did the same thing with applying pressure behind a lead left jab). I'm not saying Castillo isn't skilled, I just feel Morales is the very best at that style of fighting. That is just my opinion on things and maybe I'm over hyping Morales, but honestly I have never seen anyone better than him at that style.

Hard to say. Didn't see Pac against anyone at 135. And I'd tab Castillo to beat Marquez, for instance. Too close to call.
