Floyd was 138 against JLC. Pac was like 147 at LW with mad speed & aggression. I saw Casamayor's Southpaw style give JLC fits. Pac destroys his ass. Styles make fights and he kills him. I think Chico would give Pac's ass fits though
It was his 2nd and 3rd time at that weight.

His first time at 135 was against Augusts in 2000.

actually Floyd's shoulder injury made that fight alot closer than it should have been. We saw what a Floyd at full strength did to JLC in the next fight. The reason I don't see it as being as close is because Pac was pretty big and fast at that weight, on top on him being able to eat body punches like M&M's. Once Castillo realizes that Body attack doesn't work on Pac I think It would be all over. Castillo was a big LW (IMO around 147-150) but Pac was as well, but hit alot harder and was alot faster at that weight.

Pac never win on fantasy match up. Pac would even lose to Brian Sutherland.

Why are Pac fans crying. Just about everyone picked Pac to win. Shut up already with that fantasy fight crap. Its about STYLE clashes. Pacs style would do him favors vs. Castillo at 135.

Now vs. Stevie Johnston?? Umm not so much.

              Get how it works now.

JLC would be a bloody mess...
The thing that made Castillo great would be his down fall in this fight. Castillo was an aggressive come forward pressure fighter, and we all know what Pac does to those type of boxers.

I truly believe Morales 1 was the last time that style would have ever worked on Pac, but also people fail to realize that Erik is extremely skilled and experienced in fighting that style (which is why he was able to beat Pac like he did). After that, we saw in the rematch and the 3rd fight that that style doesn't work anymore. Cotto and Hatton found out first hand.

come on man, you cant count throw away fights like that. He was off for 7 months and just wanted a tuneup before the Chico fight against an average opponent. That **** aint nothing like facing JLC. Im not making excuses. I just think 2 things about Floyd. He's going to win by alot in most cases but that doesnt mean you are always going to get the good Floyd. I think some fights he just comes in to pat & run. The other thing is that in some fights against much bigger guys, he's just going to tap & run if he doesnt feel comfortable at that weight yet.

People try to play it now like he's picking on all these small guys when he had a ton of fights where guys outweighed him by alot in the ring, including against JLC who was much bigger & stronger. When Floyd did fight back he would get the best of him but his mindset most of the time was to stick & move. Pac wouldnt be undersized and he wouldnt be moving anywhere but forward. JLC's defense is average and Pac's Southpaw style would **** his world up just like he was doing in sparring

The reason Castillo gave Floyd trouble in both fights was because he came forward behind a long, effective jab. Castillo, like his idol, will forever be noted for his work in close quarters but watch his two fights with Stevie Johnston. His skill level wasn't just good, it was elite.
