how come? floyd has mentioned martinez directly. Also, why wouldn't HBO put up the money for this fight? And Floyd makes money with anyone as the B-side. I dunno what the hang up would be.

it's happened before. floyd can fight for the 154 and 160 lbs title at the same time. to win the 160 lbs title all you have to be is under 161 lbs. floyd could weight 146 lbs and as long as he beats maritinez he'll still win the 160 lbs title.

the chance is actually miniscule......people are getting caried away.....he would be better off letting Pac juice than fighting Sergio at 154 or 160......IMHO

You guys are dilusional if you think sergio is better for his legacy than manny. Sergio is a tougher fight, but he needs a few title defenses under his belt and then try calling floyd out. Plus you guys get off topic... floyd will not fight anyone unless it makes him money. Pray and wish as you may, but floyd controls his destiny.

Hand Speed - i give Floyd the edge....not on raw speed, but the timing is better so he will look faster.

Foot Speed - Martinez. Floyd hasn't showed any since he came back and i am of the view his foot speed has slowly been declining since the Baldomir fight.

Footwork - Floyd....by a long way. Backing off Martinez feet often come together...this means he gets knocked down easy....not because he is hurt, but because he is off balance.

Chin - about even. Floyd's chin is still underrated....but Sergio also took some bombs from Williams without blinking.

                      Stamina - Floyd......just.

                      Workrate - Martinez.

Power - Martinez.....he is naturally bigger.

Intangibles - Floyd......ring I.Q. is second to none....and as he says "i got alot of tricks up my sleeve"

Styles - Well Martinez is a southpaw, and a very quick one...who also happens to throw a great right hook (a southpaw who can't do this really won't get anywhere as a boxer) and he also jabs downstairs with BOTH hands to set up shots upstairs. He will present many many problems for Floyd.......but conversely....Floyd also has an excellent left hook and lead str8right...the 2 best weapons against a southpaw....and intuitively he also like to throw the right to the body against lefties....which could slow Sergio down over the course....but i still give the style edge to Maravilla.....Floyd matches up better against conventional fighters.....southpaws limit his defensive arsenal more than orthodox fighters....by this i mean the shoulder roll is less effective.......this may help explain why he fights lefties more aggressively.
