The fight should happen at 154 lbs with the 160 lbs title on the line (IMHO, floyd should pay for it). Floyd can weigh whatever he wants (he's around 160 lbs anyways) and the lowest he can make martinez go is 154 lbs.
Style match up: I think floyd has the better technique, but martinez's unorthodox technique might throw floyd off for a couple rounds. I definitely don't see floyd walking down martinez like he did mosley, I think we are gonna see the return of floyd's footwork in this one. Advantage Floyd.
Size match up: They're about the same size, but martinez will probably have 5-10 lbs on floyd. nothing floyd can't handle. plus floyd is probably as strong as martinez anyways. Slight advantage to Martinez.
Conditioning: I don't think martinez's conditioning is as good as floyd's. he takes breaks and fades in the middle rounds to catch his second wind. Floyd is always calm and now that he's taking his time and not throwing many punches he'll have the advantage. If Floyd can really push the pace in the middle rounds sergio will be in trouble because he fades.
Chin: Martinez was taking pavlik's punches well. Floyd chin is average, but his conditioning allows him to survive shots that other people probably couldn't take. I think martinez hits harder than mosley, but he's gonna have to put together punches to really hurt floyd.
BOTTOMLINE: GREAT FIGHT! MAKE IT HAPPEN BITCHES!
Why dont u just say what is really on your mind bandwagon jumper.........???
You have been calling Gorrilla Dog too "BIG" in every post.......and down playing Pacs chances in every post.......bit shook after you saw what Floyd did to Shane???
Don't worry.....Pac will fare much better than Shane.

This is obviously the more competitive match up.
Floyd has longer arms, measured from the armpit to the end of the fist. The fact that his shoulders aren't that broad just means there's less body to hit.
Floyd would be the favorite at either weight, obviously less of one at 160.
But yeah, I believe this to be more of a competitive matchup than the Pac fight, though I'm not sure how you get any more competitive than a 50/50 match up.

very difficult fight for Floyd.....goes without saying it is even harder at 160....i would have it a toss up at 154 and may even favour Maravilla at 160...where i feel Floyd would be even less mobile than at 54....but because Sergio isn't cutting as much weight to get down he will avtually be just as fast.....maybe faste.
Hand Speed - i give Floyd the edge....not on raw speed, but the timing is better so he will look faster.
Foot Speed - Martinez. Floyd hasn't showed any since he came back and i am of the view his foot speed has slowly been declining since the Baldomir fight.
Footwork - Floyd....by a long way. Backing off Martinez feet often come together...this means he gets knocked down easy....not because he is hurt, but because he is off balance.
Chin - about even. Floyd's chin is still underrated....but Sergio also took some bombs from Williams without blinking.
Stamina - Floyd......just.
Workrate - Martinez.
Power - Martinez.....he is naturally bigger.
Intangibles - Floyd......ring I.Q. is second to none....and as he says "i got alot of tricks up my sleeve"
Styles - Well Martinez is a southpaw, and a very quick one...who also happens to throw a great right hook (a southpaw who can't do this really won't get anywhere as a boxer) and he also jabs downstairs with BOTH hands to set up shots upstairs. He will present many many problems for Floyd.......but conversely....Floyd also has an excellent left hook and lead str8right...the 2 best weapons against a southpaw....and intuitively he also like to throw the right to the body against lefties....which could slow Sergio down over the course....but i still give the style edge to Maravilla.....Floyd matches up better against conventional fighters.....southpaws limit his defensive arsenal more than orthodox fighters....by this i mean the shoulder roll is less effective.......this may help explain why he fights lefties more aggressively.
HAPPY????

yep. I think floyd should definitely pay for the 160 lbs title. that would be a huge feather in his cap. Also martinez should be able to give floyd a really stiff challenge. that's all anybody is asking of floyd.
