Martinez vs. Mayweather... LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Let's be serious... gorilla-dog will continue to duck pac. So this is the next best thing.

The fight should happen at 154 lbs with the 160 lbs title on the line (IMHO, floyd should pay for it). Floyd can weigh whatever he wants (he's around 160 lbs anyways) and the lowest he can make martinez go is 154 lbs.

Style match up: I think floyd has the better technique, but martinez's unorthodox technique might throw floyd off for a couple rounds. I definitely don't see floyd walking down martinez like he did mosley, I think we are gonna see the return of floyd's footwork in this one. Advantage Floyd.

Size match up: They're about the same size, but martinez will probably have 5-10 lbs on floyd. nothing floyd can't handle. plus floyd is probably as strong as martinez anyways. Slight advantage to Martinez.

Conditioning: I don't think martinez's conditioning is as good as floyd's. he takes breaks and fades in the middle rounds to catch his second wind. Floyd is always calm and now that he's taking his time and not throwing many punches he'll have the advantage. If Floyd can really push the pace in the middle rounds sergio will be in trouble because he fades.

Chin: Martinez was taking pavlik's punches well. Floyd chin is average, but his conditioning allows him to survive shots that other people probably couldn't take. I think martinez hits harder than mosley, but he's gonna have to put together punches to really hurt floyd.

BOTTOMLINE: GREAT FIGHT! MAKE IT HAPPEN BITCHES!

Ahh, pullcounter. Somehow I suspect this thread has a hidden agenda. Then again, we all know how you like to keep things in the closet.

Lol Floyd isn't going to risk his '0' vs Martinez, infact this is more risky then fighting pacquiao. Martinez is not so well known so if Mayweather was to lose then it wouldn't go down to well. Wouldn't mind seeing it though..

It's alot more risky Pac is an easy fight in comparison..

We all know Pullcounter wants Floyd vs Williams or Martinez instead of Pac cause he doesn't want to see his boy take a schoolin

manny is a much easier fight than martinez..and beating sergio also does more for floyds legacy than beating manny

Floyd would be better off fighting Pacquiao

so what do you guys think about the style match up, the chin factor, and the conditioning of both guys???
I think all these things except maybe chin favor floyd.

I'm more interested in Mayweather-Martinez then Mayweather-Pacquiao, although I'd like to see Pacquiao and Floyd go at it. Thing is, we all know Pacquiao isn't gonna take the full test. Might as well face Martinez.
