just cuz he states that he is the greatest, doesnt mean he went through what ali did... ali was a social figure, civil rights, his stance against war, nation of islam.... ali spoke for a reason. plus, ali was a smooth dude. the man had style and charisma. his quotes were classic....

Good post! I think both fighters found away out of the fight. If they both wanted it so bad the fight would have been made. Honestly I think Manny wants to fight but, Roach wants to work on something with him first. I hope its how to fight going backwards.

Floyd beats Manny with or without the test. I think the PED and OST stuff is to taint him honestly. I hate it but, I really think he is jealous of Pac's attention.

no one can seriously compare FLoyd to Ali as a social figure. the times was different, of course racism is still around but US has a black (gray is more like it) president, segragation is over, military draft is a thing of the past, the threat of *******ism doesnt lie heavily on civic righst but more on human rights and so on... different times, deifferent people.

the world may never see this fight materialize and that will hurt boxing in the worst way. even more so after this past weekend of boxing with the kermit cintron debacle. everyone is waiting on this fight. it comes up on every night of boxing in one way or another. too many fights being made that no one wants to see in the first place and the fights that dont get made have the best potential to be great.

larry merchant always points out mayweather's lack of real opposition on live television to see what he says and he always spits the same nonsense. i love mayweather the fighter but i wish mayweather the person would stfu sometimes. mayweather has enough skill to easliy dominate the ww division and be unified champion and have a bhop middleweight type of reign but because he didnt want to be tied into fighting madatories and paying out a percentage to the sanctioning bodies(which i understand completely F SULAIMAN) we are left sitting here wondering when is mayweather going to be truly tested. then manny comes up and now hes pitching this i want to show my sport is clean nonsense.

they should make a full training camp 24/7 where the cameras run nonstop from the start of training camp until the fight. no locked doors. all access all the time. even when they take dumps their on camera that way you cant take anything and have no one know.

You have missed the point..... actually, you have dropped the ball, and for the life of me I just cannot work out how or why you did that ?

The only reason that there is "PED and OST stuff".... is because Pac did not agree to an acceptable cut-off date (as if you actually need a cut-off date) for Olympic Style random blood testing.

How could you possibly blame Mayweather for asking, when all Manny had to do was accept, the same way Shane did.
