Skill level is skill level. When you step in that ring everyone can see your skill level. So I don't buy this talk about Floyd didn't prove himself. Just because floyd didn't fight someone doesn't mean he can't beat them. And I think that most of the people making that argument are assuming. The hate on Floyd does have to do with race. And it seems nowadays people get away with racism because all they have to say is black people are trying to pull the race card. I don't have any cards in my pocket i'm just tellin it like it is. People love to talk about how marquez and hatton are soo small but yet pacquiao is the same damn size. Now how can you explain that? Floyd never wanted to fight Mosley not because he was scared but because he knew what they would say. He did an interview after pac fought cotto and it's on youtube where he says what the people will say after he beats Mosley. And he was right on. Now how would he know that? But yet before the fight people like yourself we're saying how Mosley was gonna win and right after the fight Mosley got old over night he gassed out after 2 ****in rounds? give me a break. Floyd will never get the respect he deserves because he's a rich black man that speaks his mind nuff said.

So, you are mind reader who knows that everyone wants Mayweather to fight Pac, even when they say they don't. Since you are such a brilliant psychic, please tell us in which round Mayweather will KO Pac if and when they fight?Comment

NO way top 555....GREAT FIGHTERS are
defined by who they FIGHT, not who they
AVOID!!!
Watch tapes of CARMEN BASILLIO, and ask
yourself, HOW BOY would cope with HIM???Comment

All Im saying is if Floyd goes 42-0 with 6 different division world titles that sh-t will be looked at as amazing 10-20 years from now. There's not many people Floyd was suppose to fight that he didn't. The Manny fight not happening doesn't fall on Floyd this is a huge business and it takes 2 to make a superfight.
If Floyd fights martinez and Martinez submits to OST like he said he would where will Manny go from there.Comment

Mayweather doesn't need Pacquiao. Pacquiao needs Mayweather. There is nothing that Mayweather can do to Pacquiao that hasn't been done already. He's been KO'd, outboxed, lost a decision, has a couple of draws I mean come on what is there to gain? But flip it around. Mayweather has NEVER lost. Pacquiao would be the first! And noone would ever forget that. Mayweather is already making more money and selling more ppv's than pac is now. Everyone else who actually WANTS to fight Mayweather are willing to take the test. Obviously pac is cheating or he doesn't want to fight Mayweather there's just no other way around it. It is what it is.Because you or nobody else was saying anything about Peds with Pac before May said something about it.Which means were is the proof? If I was Pac I would say Suck my D*#K Floyd.I heard this argument alot I feel both have valid reasoning but if I'm Pac I'm not bending to May because he wants to change the rules. He could have went to the comm. But he did not he feel's he is bigger then the sport so why should Mannybend to Mayweather? If may went talk to the comm and they said cool we are putting this in for this fight then Pac refused then I would say nah Pac what the hell. But for him to tell another fight no I don't see a problem with that.Comment

If this is the case, then I am sure you don't consider Pac a "great fighter" or a top 5 ATG. He fought over-the-hill fighters in Morales, Barrerra, second rate fighters in David Diaz and Joshua Clottey, guys who had their best skills beaten out of them in Cotto and Hatton and a past his prime, weight-drained De La Hoya. None of these victories would be considered great victories by a non-biased fan or historian.
He has avoided Juan Diaz, Joel Casamayor, Nate Campbell, and other top fighters at 135 as well as Shane Mosley and is presently avoiding Timothy Bradley, Devon Alexander and Paul Williams. Based in this record, Pac is barely mediocre!!!
