Merchant is the biggest hater of em all. Flooyd didn't fight Tony BECAUSE ARUM COULDN'T GUARANTEE 10 MILLION FOR FUTURE FIGHTS. HE WAS MORE THAN WILLING TO TAK 8 TO FIGHT HIM BUT IT FALLS ON ARUM. Floyd then took the buyout that was only available then. And then went on to be a money making star. Hatton also won the wbc belt at WW so **** that noise about being small.

The BS is Manny not submitting. Something is really wrong with that picture. People want Floyd to bend over backwards for Manny's ass but that would be very wrong to do. I say **** those people. They don't give a **** about him and he shouldn't give a **** about them. Why aren't people demanding that Manny submit to testing? Because people a really ****ed up out here which is why the world is so ****ed up.

The difference is the timing of their matches. Manny CLEARLY has been fighter fighters after they came out on the short end of tough fights whereas Floyd fought them with great momentum and you know that's true. They are NOT on the same level. Manny is mostly hype while even Manny's trainer said Floyd wouldn't take a risky fight like Shane. Manny has been beaten and Ko'd while Floyd hasn't so your attempt to make them even is a very, very bad one.

clearly styles makes fights... floyd can walk away well preserved and retire with plenty of money... obviously, his trash talk had to compensate for his lack of excitement in the ring... purists will claim he is god. but boxing scribes will show he didnt move the sport the way manny has.... YES, floyd is a future hall of famer... YES, floyd is the better boxer... but i doubt he will surpass pernell whitaker on most ATG lists... is it so hard to understand that manny's style of fighting will bring in more casual fans & media attention???? just because you arent impressed with his work does not hide what he has done in the ring... he took guys floyd decisioned and demolished them.... and please dont give me the argument that they were "damaged" by floyd. that is the dumbest argument floyd boys have.... like you said, its all about timing... do you honestly think that if manny fought oscar & ricky BEFORE floyd, the outcome would be different???? also the "manny has been beaten and ko'd" argument is WEAK.... floyd had the privilege of being trained as a boxer by 2 solid fighters HIS WHOLE LIFE.... he was basically destined to be great.... manny didnt have the same privilege, and his EARLY record shows that... unless you DISCREDIT the importance of a good trainer???? these fighters arent born great, they are molded and made.... bringing up pac's record before he had a decent trainer is just as dumb as bringing up floyd's amateur record... he WASNT unbeaten then....

either way, dont be surprised that manny gets the accolades he gets... his STYLE caters to fans & the public... nobody is taking anything away from floyd so relax....LOL.
