clearly styles makes fights... floyd can walk away well preserved and retire with plenty of money... obviously, his trash talk had to compensate for his lack of excitement in the ring... purists will claim he is god. but boxing scribes will show he didnt move the sport the way manny has.... YES, floyd is a future hall of famer... YES, floyd is the better boxer... but i doubt he will surpass pernell whitaker on most ATG lists... is it so hard to understand that manny's style of fighting will bring in more casual fans & media attention???? just because you arent impressed with his work does not hide what he has done in the ring... he took guys floyd decisioned and demolished them.... and please dont give me the argument that they were "damaged" by floyd. that is the dumbest argument floyd boys have.... like you said, its all about timing... do you honestly think that if manny fought oscar & ricky BEFORE floyd, the outcome would be different???? also the "manny has been beaten and ko'd" argument is WEAK.... floyd had the privilege of being trained as a boxer by 2 solid fighters HIS WHOLE LIFE.... he was basically destined to be great.... manny didnt have the same privilege, and his EARLY record shows that... unless you DISCREDIT the importance of a good trainer???? these fighters arent born great, they are molded and made.... bringing up pac's record before he had a decent trainer is just as dumb as bringing up floyd's amateur record... he WASNT unbeaten then....

either way, dont be surprised that manny gets the accolades he gets... his STYLE caters to fans & the public... nobody is taking anything away from floyd so relax....LOL.

I have a question for you. If Floyd kicks Manny's ass like I know he will what will you say then? But he didn't fight Margarito? That's why I say **** the naysayers cause you will never satisfy them. The dude is 42-0 and has beaten every major player put in front of him. Licking Manny's ass is not an option. **** Manny. Manny's not real to me personally until he takes those test because I never heard of an innocent man that wouldn't. If Floyd was a white guy he could talk all the **** he wanted to and the whole world would still make him the hottest thing since white bread but being African American people keep him under a microscope. some of these comments are funny. lets talk first about mayweather ducking all the greats the sport has to offer. quick question to that statement who has he ducked , the cheater and cotto?? ok he "ducked" the cheater to fight the number 1 ranked ww. so you complain floyd cherry picks, but wouldnt that being cherry picking if he didnt face the number 1 guy and fought a lower rank name fighter? Your right he could of fought cotto and the cheater isntead of judah and baldomir ranker number 1 and 2 but if he did that you would be saying right now he dodges top ranked fighters like zab and baldomir and would be saying who cares how many times baldomir lost he was number 1 then and didnt lose and 7 years and zab judah was jsut as fast and a threat so thats why he didnt fight him. now going on to the mosley ducking, he was ducking mosley because he called him out in his prime and mosley didnt accept it, but then since mosley called out mayweather after he was losing and mayweather didnt jump at it and was trying to get a fight with the best out their manny, that makes him scared of him ..lol ok

now going on to the comparison of mayweather and manny, now if you try to hate on mayweather for his fight selection your shooting manny in the foot since he fought oscar and hatton after mayweather, and i you cant say hes fighting the best if they are comming off loses lol. oscar was the skelton version of what mayweather fought so in my book that fight dosnt count hatton yes was a good win for manny but if you try to take credit from mayweather then that win would mean nothing to manny. now cotto fight yes cotto wanst the same, but he is still a good fighter in that division. now do i think pac should of fought mosley..yes, but beating cotto still is a good win. as for clottey yes hes a decent fighter but at that point in manny career that was a waste of time and an easy win and if he fights the cheater another waste of a time and an easy win unless pac pulls a cintron and falls out the ring then the cheater has a chance lol. to sum it up they both are great fighters but my money will always go with a boxer over a fighter like lenoard and hagler but thats my opinion and we all know one punch can change a fight

isint boxing an art isnt it about technique? Who cares about exciting the crowd did u know there are some die hard fans who find floyds performances exciting? Im one of them yes a brawl is good to see here and there but to watch a man out box and take another mans spirit while holding him to a low land percentage is damn exciting to alot of people plus half the people who did brawl cant hardly talk at 50 years old did u hear tommy hearns talk lately? At what point is it smart to focus on not getting hit? Since when was getting hit to give the fans an exciting fight cool? And floyd had had many fights where he was the agressor i think he switched it up when he moved up but whatever... Who cares who surpasses who on an atg or best boxer list man one one list floyd can be #35 on another he can be #1 its all opinion anyway so you will never hear me debating that topic.

angulo at 154 can beat mayweather and winky wright can give him a fight but margarito could have given him a fight at one time but not now he needs a few more fights too bring him back up.

People like you who don't look at the technical aspects of boxing will forever be left looking ****** in the end. PBF is the best most complete fighter Pac has ever faced. He's juts as fast if not faster and is just as athletic but he's longer and stronger he's also a counter puncher makes few mistakes and is the best defensive fighter of this era combined with a being a ring general with a high IQ. You have a recipe for disaster for Pac but you still don't see it. It amazes me that guys like you can be so blind even when staring in the face of defeat. Historically speaking elite defensive counter punchers like PBF have owned elite aggressive pressure fighters like Pac but I guess that doesn't matter either? Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships and come fight night you'll find this out but by then it will be too late

I just rewatched Pac/Cotto and Pac was slow and sloppy as hell in the later rounds. Floyd will chew his little ass up and spit him out I have absolutely no doubt about that. I really hope they make the fight but if it's gonna be a bunch of BS I say Fuvk Pac and focus on Martinez.
