Wonder why 11/13 is better than 12/4, the first weekend in December? Let it build to a crescendo over Thanksgiving week with an ass of commercials during the big holiday movie premieres and NFL football games. Everyone and thier cousins will be watching TV during that week or going to the movies as a group after the annual rivalry high school & college games.

Freddie Roach even said something about November being a bad month for PPV.

There is nothing to compete with during the week after Thanksgiving, 12/4.

Team Mayweather should look into this; don't just blindly acquiesce to Top Rank on a 11/13 fight date. The first weekend of December, 12/4, should be considered as well IMHO.

This is actually a really good point. I'm surprised they don't bump it to that week as well. I do believe there are some college football conference championships that weekend, however, but it's still a better spot than early/mid November.

If you *******s think a guy with no jab, short arms, piss poor defense and limited will beat a elite technician like PBF you're kidding yourself. People like you who don't look at the technical aspects of boxing will forever be left looking ****** in the end. PBF is the best most complete fighter Pac has ever faced. He's juts as fast if not faster and is just as athletic but he's longer and stronger he's also a counter puncher makes few mistakes and is the best defensive fighter of this era combined with a being a ring general with a high IQ. You have a recipe for disaster for Pac but you still don't see it. It amazes me that guys like you can be so blind even when staring in the face of defeat. Historically speaking elite defensive counter punchers like PBF have owned elite aggressive pressure fighters like Pac but I guess that doesn't matter either? Offense sells tickets but defense wins championships and come fight night you'll find this out but by then it will be too late

I forgot about the annual SEC and Big 12 conference championship games. They do get huge ratings themselves; but only one is at night and it starts at 8:00 p.m. EST.

Start the PPV at 10:30 p.m EST to compensate a little if the night game is a huge showdown; this mega fight would probably enjoy aggressive commercial advertisements during the pre-game coverage of both football championships as well IMHO.

Last year Texas vs. Nebraska was the night game and was overshadowed by the Florida vs. Alabama afternoon game earlier that day.
